Wife and I discussing music. I was a teen in the 90s, so this list will reflect that, but bands i had a chance to see, but didn’t because “we’ll catch them next time”:

Nirvana
Alice in Chains
Soundgarden
Guns N’ Roses (when Use your Illusion tour)

who did y’all miss out on?

Linkin Park
Stone Temple Pilots
Godsmack
Three Days Grace

I'm not that old, but those 4 came off the top of my head.

I never really had a real chance regionally and financially at the time, but definitely Nirvana and Alice In Chains

Queen came to Baton Rouge my freshman year, and I didn't go. Never got the chance again.

While I would see them live a few times afterward, I wish I’d gone to the Metallica show at the P-Mac in June 1992, held just months after the release of the Black Album. There’s video of the entire show on YouTube, but being there would’ve been swell.

There are bands I've missed and bands I was too young to have seen. Certainly not a complete list.

Soundgarden
Stevie Ray Vaughn
Ronnie James Dio
Frank Zappa
Thin Lizzy
Pantera
Linkin Park
Faith No More
Queen
Michael Jackson
Frank Sinatra
Genesis
Yes

The one I regret is not going to see Bill Monroe when he played the HOB in New Orleans in early 90s

Traffic - the original lineup with Jim Capaldi
Townes Van Zandt & Guy Clark - together, solo, collectively, any fashion or way
ABB - just never did

The Eagles with Glenn Frey still alive. Glad I caught Rush on the R40 tour before they hung it up and sadly later lost Neil P.

I saw that tour. You didn't miss anything. The show I saw Axl was so wasted he could barely sing.
