I hear you. I truly think Prince is the best all-around musician, performer, showman EVER. It's funny, because when people disagree with me, it's not very hard to find a clip of their favorite musician(s) singing Prince's praises to high heaven. The thing that has "hurt" him as far as legacy is how weird and reclusive he was, especially early in his career. He's in a class by himself.

You should have known what you were walking in to. Hutchence was INXS.

I'm the spawn of a forlorn time, saw everyone I needed to see, but the Replacements lost their shite before my eyes. Played one song, and got mental halfway through the second. Jumped on each other and curtain closed. So sad.

Black Sabbath on their final tour a few years ago. Rival Sons opened for them.

Why did I not buy tickets

Also, Soundgarden. Had a chance to see them when they supported Nine Inch Nails a few years ago and passed on it. I regret that decision.

I was able to see Elvis with my parents when I was 7 at the Assembly Center in BR. We actually went to the concert, and just before it started there was an announcement that Elvis wasn't feeling well and couldn't perform. We went back a few weeks later and saw the rescheduled show. It's kinda cool I was able to see ELVIS live, even if I don't recall much about it. He died a month or two later.

Alice in Chain still tours. Yeah Layne is gone, but Cantrell was the heart of that band. He still plays all the songs he wrote.

The first concert I ever saw not in New Orleans!! One of the few shows, (opening show of the tour) that they used the giant inflatable penis.
