Linkin Park, STP, and Soundgarden were all at the same rock festival that welched on going to because the tix were expensive. Bennington, and Cornell were all dead within like 6 months.
Regret not going to see Dirty Honey down in New Orleans last winter.
Eric Johnson at Mid City Ballroom last year. I balked at the price, but definitely could have gone.
I had tickets to see Greta Van Fleet last year at the UNO Lakefront Arena, but the show was postponed. The date the show was postponed to, my band had a gig already scheduled, so I ended up having to eat the tickets, which thankfully, weren’t too expensive.
I had tickets for this rediculous 80’s hair band concert weekend at the Paragon once. I had won them when trying to call in and qualify to win season tickets to LSU or a truck or something like that. It was Firehouse, Winger, Dokken, and maybe Warrant. Out of all those bands, I really only knew “Cherry Pie” and “She’s only 17”. Since I didn’t have anyone to go with (SO at the time had zero interest in going up to Marksville) and I was too cheap to get a hotel room for just myself, I ended up not using them. Years later, I discovered how awesome Firehouse and Dokken were, and so I’ve been kicking myself for missing it. Warrant and Winger still suck.
Weezer in Baton Rouge at Groovin on the Grounds. He did a free concert and my SO (same from previous story) convinced me not to go.

Journey with Steve Perry 1981 (I was 14 and my parents said I was too young to go to a concert).
Iron Maiden and WASP 1985 (I played basketball and baseball in high school and we had a bb game that night)
Def Leppard 1983 (broke my ankle earlier that week playing basketball so that was a no go)
Tom Petty
Queen
Alice Cooper

Stevie Ray Vaughan has to be #1 on that list for me. I lived in Texas in the 80's but never saw him play.
Others:
King Crimson with the Belew/Bruford/Levin lineup
Yes
Talking Heads

You missed it with Prince. I saw him in 1988 and 2001, one arena, one small club. They are the 2 best shows I've been to. He could play every instrument, sing, dance, etc..

INXS, with Michael Hutchence, saw them a few years later with the new guy, just not the same.
Stevie Ray Vaughn, opted to see someone else at Jazz Fest when he played.

My wife saw Prince 3 times and lists those three concerts as her top three and she has been to a ton of concerts

Allman Brothers
Stevie Ray Vaughn
And while I did see Lynyrd Skynyrd in December 2018, there was only one original member left. I was a junior in high school with tickets when the fateful trip happened 10/20/77.

Had a chance to take my dad to a tom petty concert and I passed. Dad wasn't in the best of shape at the time, so I knew it would be a job. Dad never bounced back and tom petty died. Then dad.
I don't really like to think about that one.
I also walked out of a turnpike concert in Jackson hole before they took the stage. Chris knight opened for them and i was more interested in seeing him. It was also a 3 hour drive and I think it was either 11 or 12 when they were supposed to go on. Would probably make the exact same decision again if the circumstances were similar, but I did love the troubadours too.

Thin LIzzy. I don't recall them coming through Baton Rouge to have ever had the chance.

Tigah , saw Prince three times myself. Super Dome purple rain tour. Dallas in 1986-87 and bossier city at century tel around 2008. (Not sure on that date) I have been to tons of concerts and have really been impressed by many artists/ bands but none of them ever came close to Prince live. The total mastery he displayed each time was just incredible to me. Incredible guitar skills and sound.
