He didn’t play the drums but everything else. He also was a MIT graduate in engineering, He invented various effects processors that he used to get all the never heard before guitar tones. His Rockman effects were used by Def Leopard to record the Hysteria album. I would say he deserves to be included.

It takes away from the appreciation of the music when it's not a collaborative effort, IMO.
The feeling when 4-5 guys vibe together to create legendary music surpasses the feeling of 1 person doing it all himself.

Noel Gallagher played all the instruments on a lot of their demos early on.
I know he played all of the instruments on some songs like half the world away and all the guitar and base tracks on 4th album after bonehead and Guigsy left oasis.

Billy Corgan on Siamese Dream.
At least all the guitar and bass. Chamberlain may have played the drums on the recording

Karen Carpenter of the Carpenter's, if I am not mistaken played all instruments except the drums.

Juliana Hatfield usually plays all the instruments on her records... sometimes bringing in drummers..
