This is exactly what I was getting at in the housing thread.

Houses cost $500k+. People make like $100k. And they still have money for $75k trucks and $25k in Taylor Swift tickets.

Life doesn’t make sense.

You've spent $25K on Taylor Swift and are online talking about it?

Nope, but I'm old enough to be in the $500 Beanie Baby club.

If you factor inflation that's $25K today.

The memories created were priceless. Be happy you were able to do so, alot of folk don't have the means.

People are giving you a hard time, but it's really no big deal. That isn't that bad for 30 concerts, and if your wife and daughter love it, who cares?

People dump some serious cash on travel ball and competitive dance/cheer, so if this is what your daughter loves doing, so be it.

TS really puts on an incredible show, as much as I kind of hate to admit it!

Yes, I've made around this much selling tickets to her concerts in the past 15 years.

Thanks for being a customer.

I support OP spending money on his kids because I support grown men doing whatever the frick they want with their own money. That said, I cannot fathom spending that much money on going to watch a person sing.

The concert ticket industry is such a fricking racket that I just couldnt live with myself if I contributed to it. But that's another topic I guess.

I bought my oldest kid her RED CD years ago. ~$15

Taking youngest two to see her in Houston in a few weeks. $120/ticket x 3 = $360
hotel room $129
food ~$50
gas ~$70

I'm around $630

Hopefully you're full of fricking shite.

It’s your money, can’t wait to read the comments from dudes that
Spend more on travel ball for little Brixxsyon
Own 3 four-wheelers and a sbs to hunt their 50-acre lease
Own a horse for little Braelynn that they pay $15k/year just to board
Drive $100k 4x4s that never touch dirt
Go on Disney vacations every year
Etc

I haven’t been to a concert in like 20 years, but I have wasted a shiat ton of money on stupid things.

If you happen to vote Republican, I can't help but laugh at you. She literally hates you, and you are helping to make her wealthy beyond anything imaginable to the people she hates.

You are spot on! I don't myself but my wife and daughter are willing to. I ain't going, not that I would if the tickets were free, but I ain't going. We may all go to the grand ol opry that weekend though, but if I can avoid that I will do so....I have been practicing social distancing since about 1975 LOL....
