Ok gotcha, I never know how to accurately classify music these days.

I'd put DBT in the Southern Rock category as well then if Dexateens isn't alt.country but it really doesn't matter does it?

just trying to describe them is kind of hard. Their studio albums (especially singlewide) are very different than them live as you know

Son Volt has a good new album out. Wilco hasn't dropped anything in 2 years. And even then it was catshit.

this is true. musical tastes are personal, I prefer the evolution of wilco, especially with nels cline in the band.
