Annie Hall is a not funny overrated piece of garbage that should've never won an Oscar over Star Wars.

Jim Carrey should have won at least two academy awards

I hate all Jim Carey movies outside of his serious films like The Truman Show and External Sunshine. I hate over the top acting whether it's Carey or Melissa McCarthy.

Grey's anatomy blows. I can't stand The Wire either.

Shawshank Redemption is blah. I think Heat with Deniro is one of the best crime movies ever made.

They should have stopped making Star Trek movies after "Wrath of Kahn". And Spock should have stayed dead.

No filmmaker in history is more overrated than Tarantino.

Movies in general were far more sensual when they weren't allowed to be explicit.

Those are the two movies I was referencing. Man on the Moon was also a great performance. Hell, his performance in Dumb and Dumber is more deserving than a lot of the Oscar-bait performances that have won.

I think Charlize Theron is an awful actress who's talent was overblown by that one time she got fat.

I thought she played a retard quite convincingly on Arrested Development... unless of course, she really is one.

If that's the case, nevermind.

Your unpopular movie opinions

AKA "How many downvotes can you get by offering an honest answer to exactly what the thread asks for?"

Bet I can beat most of these downvote counts. I honestly think that the only thing the original "Star Wars" trilogy did well was groundbreaking special effects...for the time. The writing and conceptualizations were better suited for low-budget TV than feature films and completely unworthy of the achievements of the special effects. The original "Indiana Jones" trilogy left "Star Wars" in the dust, even taking into account the mediocrity of "Temple of Doom."

Edit: Just had a thought as I was falling asleep. I'm actually not sure whether it will be popular or unpopular. If Lucas had had the common sense to hand the reins over to Ridley Scott from the start, giving him full directorial and writing team control while settling for just taking care of the special effects, "Star Wars" might now be remembered as a top 20 movie of all time regardless of genre. That would have been an absolute powerhouse line-up.

Westerns all look and sound the same.

Animal House is not funny.

Clint Eastwood is tiresome. He plays the same character with the same scowl in every movie. Gran Torino was retarded.

Rocky IV is retarded.
