Here are mine. Obviously I'm gonna get some down votes but that's subjective criticism for ya:

1. Tony Stark/Iron Man (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
2. Bruce Wayne/Batman (The Dark Knight Trilogy)
3. Maximus Decimus Meridius (Gladiator)
4. Aragorn (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy)
5. Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean Franchise)
6. Harry Potter (Harry Potter Franchise)
7. Katniss Everdeen (The Hunger Games Franchise)
8. John Wick (The John Wick Franchise)
9. Peter Parker/Spider Man (The Spider-Man Trilogy)
10. Logan/Wolverine (The X-Men Universe)

I think almost all of the truly great movie characters lately have been more villain than protagonist types. For example:

No Country for Old Men
There Will be Blood
Ex Machina
The Wolf of Wall Street
Collateral

It's really depressing how comic books have infiltrated cinema since that first X men film, and it's effect on the industry/public.

Feel like Luke skywalker deserves a place, probably Ethan hunt, Indiana jones, Michael corleone, a frick ton more better than your list
