4With so many choices, I can never tolerate Sharon Stone’s character in Casino. She played that part so well. I swear Scorsese wrote that part just for her. Brilliantly acted.

This was my answer to this question for probably 2 decades. As I’ve gotten older I’ve softened on it a bit realizing he was just a weak man forced into a situation he didn’t have the mental fortitude to handle. Does it excuse what he did? Hell no, absolutely not, his decision was cowardly, pathetic, and down right immoral, but I don’t think I hate him anymore.
