The story is a nice departure from the previous seasons.

Interested to see if this is worth a shite.

The last season was bad and just recycled.

It's much different from s3 in the suburbs.

It's one of the cool things about this show how they switch up everything around Joe each season.

Good half a season. They did a good job splitting it up. Didn't leave us with a big cliff hanger and i still wanna see what happens in the next half.

I loved the first 3 episodes, didn't really care much for the last 2 though, they felt rushed. Still, where it left off will make the next part interesting.

Love they completely threw out the script of the first 3 seasons. It had gotten stale by the end of last season.

First 5 episodes were awesome. I agree the 5th episode was a little rushed. There’s some glaring plot holes now that hopefully they go back in and fill in.

Overall very strong start.

Like how they mixed it up vs. past seasons, but I thought most of the new characters (and as a whodunnit, it's a character-centric show) were weak.

SPOILERS

I thought it was really good. The only 2 parts I thought didn't make sense were

1)Kate wanting to hide the dead body she found in her room instead of telling the others that there is a murderer in the house. Why wouldn't she just tell everyone? its not like they would have thought she killed the girl. And the reasoning of not wanting her dad's security involved was dumb. THERE IS A MURDERER ON THE LOOSE IN THE HOUSE. Why was no one scared? Why was Kate's power struggle with her dad more important than living to see the next day?

2) Roald pointing his gun at Joe in the forest when they went hunting. Was he trying to scare Joe or was he really going to kill him? Given that we now know that Roald wasn't the killer, doesn't make a whole lot of sense that he would just murder Joe in the forest because Kate liked him. I get the whole scorned lover thing but that's a far cry from cold blooded murder.

Other than these 2 "plot holes" I thought it was a really good half season. Really entertaining and although I was suspicious of Rhys from the get-go, there was no definitive proof it was him until the big reveal.

I’m just glad Marienne didn’t feature heavily in this season. She sucks. Hopefully they keep her away for the second half as well.

ETA: Unless they decide to let Joe kill her. Then I’d be down.

I absolutely loved season 1.
Enjoyed season 2.
Barely slogged through and mostly disliked season 3.

Does this season get back into good form?

They didn’t spend much on lighting for season 4

Every scene is so damn dark

You have to take normallcy out of it. These are the ultra rich with high connections. They feel they are untouchable and can "get away with murder"

Yeah that was definitely the lesser of my 2 gripes. The fact that they went to the country to get away from a serial killer that preys on the rich and then one of them is murdered in the house and no one seems alarmed by it is super hard to stomach.

It just made absolutely no sense that her first thought was that she needed to get rid of the body so her dad doesn’t find out instead of…ya know… the murderer on the loose!!!

I get what you're saying. I was more adding to your comment than disagreeing with it
