I wanted to see the head of Market Equities. The suit against that company would have been in the billions for wrongful death.

Taylor Sheridan again showed us how badass he is. Beth killed Jamie after Rip stopped Jamie from killing her, Rip and Loyd took Jamie to the train station. Kayce gave the ranch to the Indians. The Indians immediately started tearing down the ranch. Everyone rode off into the sunset, listening to Lainy Wilson songs.
It was a lazy ending, but I figured it would be since they had soo much to try to cover.

Watch for that next season with the Beth focused Yellowstone season 6.

Sigh....
It's like an old dog passing away. You could see it coming from a mile out but at least there's no more suffering.
frick Beth.

I've been tired of the whole Beth/Jamie dynamic for so long. Was really hoping they'd both die somehow. Beth riding off into the sunset just makes no sense to me. Idk how you could watch this whole series and think she's any better than him. Probably worse, plus she and John kinda made him the way he is. A sequel around her sounds terrible.
Kayce at least keeping a small piece of the ranch was about the only redeeming quality of the finale IMHO.
All that being said, I'll probably still watch any prequel stuff just for the scenery.

They wrapped it up with like 30-40 minutes to spare then gave multiple exit scenes to the bottom feeder cowboys from the bunkhouse. One was to show Lainey Wilson, one was to show more Sheridan. Shocked we didn't get a Ryan Bingham concert at a barrel racing event.
Could've had Kayce and Rip kill a few people at least.

I kinda liked cowgirl Monica as they rode off in the sunset.

Sheridan really betrayed the story with the ending of Yellowstone. I agree with you, why watch the precursors if you know they just end up losing it in the end. Totally cuts the legs out from under the whole story.
100%
Sheridan completely missed the mark the last few seasons. It was supposed to be a modern day Cowboys and Indians show. Should have somehow ended with John Dutton and Rainwater coming together to keep the land and screw over the evil corporation. I thought they were headed that way before they killed off Roarke and before we spent so much time with Sheridan's 6666 horsey shite. Started out so great.

I don't hate Beth like y'all do and even I thought she should die in the end. Kayce's "I forgive them" contrasted to Beth's "I will avenge you," wouldn't have been half bad with Kayce getting redemption and a piece of the land for his family if Beth had died. It actually would have been fitting for Rip to be alone. Such is the life of a cowboy.

So are we to gather that the Indians burnt the homes and farms down?
I saw them removing the Y from the stables and scraping down the roofs for some reason, but that was pretty much it.

Yea they were getting ready to burn it all down it seems after scavenging the good pieces for themselves.
The second half of this season just seemed like a huge middle finger to Costner.

This was the endgame I was hoping for. I can't believe TS didn't use this angle.
Also, based on your Screen Name, I guessing with a good deal of confidence you're a Rush fan...as am I

Jamie was my favorite character and i think he shouldve won at the end
he was the only realistic character tbh
I guess they could've made something out of beth with whatever she did with the stock market but they quit that after like the first season. rip and kayce were both fake killing people left and right. kevin costner was fake like they cut his guts out in a horse trailer and then he got shot like 15 times
jamie was the only realistic character besides when he killed the journalist chick by hitting her head on a car once

Beth living ruins this for me. Not sure there's ever been a worse character in television.

Jamie shoulda called 911 when he had the upper hand in the fight so she and maybe rip would've gone to jail. real oberyn moment

I’ve got news for them.
They are going to jail anyway.
1. Blood splatter analysis will confirm a stabbing
2. The blood trail with Jamie’s DNA will confirm his body was dragged out of there
3. His car would 100% have GPS on it so they could track the exact route of his vehicle and ping cell phones around that route with consistency
4. Tire marks of a 350 dodge will be everywhere
5. Jamie 100% has surveillance videos around his house and neighborhood.
RIP and Beth are toast

The Corner missed John Dutton's Death where on Casey had to make a stink to reopen. In this Universe, the Police are going to take Beth's word. They already know Jamie's in on it.

I just don’t get how you walk away from a billion dollar property for nothing
Kayce broke now?

I haven’t watched much of the past two seasons.
Why was Beth intent on killing Jamie? He had nothing to do with the hit on John.
Was this still revenge for the whole abortion thing?

Beth, maybe, but remember, technically, Rip doesn't... exist, does he? There's no record of him anywhere.
