Worst Villain Mistakes in Movies

What are some of the biggest mistakes villains have made that come back to bite them in the end?
I have 2 girls so I watch a lot of Disney movies:
Why in the world would the "mother" in Tangled tell Rapunzel her real birthday? Rapunzel always questioned the lights that appear on her birthday leading her to believe there was something special about her. That lead her curiosity to take her out of the tower. Telling her birthday ultimately led to the old lady's demise.

When McCaffey asked Jessup if he ordered the code red.... all he had to say was no.... goodbye. but he had to go on his tirade.

All the empire had to do was cover one hole

He wasn’t the main villain, but Toombs should’ve taken the money from the Supermax prison - Crematoria - in Chronicles of Riddick.

Every single Bond movie when the antagonist leaves it up to his henchmen or some ridiculous machine.

WALL-E. If Auto had a secret mission to ensure that they never returned to Earth, why didn't he just disable the EVE program and stop sending out probes entirely instead of trying to steal the plant?

Sauron not having a mountain troll posted at the entrance of the Crack of Doom. It should have crossed his mind that his enemies might seek to destroy the Ring.

He wasn't the villain though

Here’s another one: Ultron making the trigger to crashing the floating city a physical rather than mental trigger. Seriously, why? He’s already connected to thousands of other drones fighting the Avengers, why didn’t he just do the same with the trigger?

Darth Sidious banking on beating the rebels in a fair fight in Return of the Jedi. He should have simply built two shield generators on Endor, so if the rebels managed to destroy what we saw in the movie, he would still have a backup and win the day. He also should have drawn on way more imperial forces than what they had in the movie.
In The Incredibles, Syndrome should have just killed the whole family when he had them captive instead of just taunting them. He showed that he had no problems with killing superheroes.

Rogue One explained that though. The exhaust port was left there and open intentionally to sabotage it.

When the Duke Brothers invested everything they own when they tried to corner the market in FCOJ by bribing Clarence Beeks.

Yeah and the Empire knew they had stolen something from the Imperial library.
They should've done their research.
