She is easily the funniest part of the show. Almost every single thing she says or does is subtle, but at the same time is laugh out loud funny.

I’m really hoping the next episode is another Patricia-focused one like Beach Reads. I’m getting Scream vibes from the episode picture and the Boogeyman is due for a return.

Are there 8 or 10 episodes this season?

10 total. I don’t think we will get double episodes again, so the finale should air 6/14. Apple says Wednesdays, but the episodes are available Tuesdays at 8pm central.

Have they revealed who the 43rd passenger was on the original colony ship? When the reporter was at the historical musuem, Loftis had mentioned the 42 passengers arriving, and Gerrie had mentioned actually it was 43, then Loftis says something like "oh we don't want to get our guest into that story just yet". Has been bugging me all season.

I just assumed that related to the cannibalism history of the island.

Possibly but would be a weird way to mention it because the cannibalism didn't happen for a while into them being on the island and wasn't until they got locked into the church iirc. They made it seem like it may have been multiple people that had gotten eaten but that may have just been my interpretation. Since more than one person would have died from the original voyage, singling one out as if they didn't exist is just odd.

I think “you had your reservations!?!” is one of the most iconic lines in the show so far.

I also cracked up when Robert after spending like 1.5 hours of screen time speaking not just in a 1700s dialect but also a very somber and intense manner tells tom “frick you!”

The "Are you mad at me" note to Richard Warren made me bust out laughing big time. And then when she came back in to grab her purse I lost my shite.

I’m not sure I could disagree more with you on that.

If anything, I could understand the Patricia episode with the satanic ritual or whatever, because that was just a weird arse episode. But even that one fits right into the weird vibe of this show.

I thought these two episodes last week were great.

That episode could end up being completely unnecessary to the overall story

It was still awesome

Hamish Linklater was great in Legion and Midnight Mass as well. He's great in everything and he's a giant of a man.

This show is very bipolar to me, too. Eps 1-4 were GREAT TV. Since then, it's been alternating between great and 'WTF did I just watch?' It's definitely very Severance-like in that aspect. I'm hanging with it because I have to know how it pans out.

FWIW- I gave up on Severance mid way through Season 2. I got so lost on what exactly was going on, I quit watching.
