The producers said they were downplaying white men’s role on the show in favor of women and disabled characters like bran

Seemed as either the NK was planning on turning Bran or destroying him but im not really sure why the NK needed to be the one who did it. Im sure we will learn about the history of the NK and the 3ER in the prequel.

I don't know. Why did that White Walker decide to put himself on the frontlines at Hardhome in season five if he knew he was vulnerable? And when he died it didn't seem to have an effect on the wights who were swarming over the village.

The Night King had complete control over the army of the dead. As soon as he went down, everyone in his army disappeared.

How many wildlings do you really think had valyrian steel? Most likely just didnt expect to run into any.

How many wights dropped when that White Walker died? I'll give you the answer: none. Their magic doesn't keep the wights on the move, the Night King's magic does. He controls all of them.

He thought he was invincible until he was surprised by Jon's sword not shattering from his first blow. I think it's fair to say the NK revised his strategy with regards to his white walkers use in battle once it was established the enemy had weapons that could kill them.

So he obviously had no connection with those wights. Big deal. There are tons of white walkers. Maybe this particular one hadn't turned any of the Wights used in the Hardhome raid.

He was as shocked as anyone when Jon blocked his swing with Longclaw.

There was a whole group of White Walkers, including the Night King, overlooking that battle. They probably sent the lowest ranking (fewest raised) down in to the battle.

Well they genocided a whole group of brown people and almost genocide a whole other group on top of that. I think the white man made out pretty good.

Operation Get behind the Darkey was in full swing.

Only the Night King's magic turns the dead into zombies. Can you give me one instance in the show where it is established or explained that wights would "die" when their lead White Walker was killed in battle?

There is no evidence that any WW besides the NK controls wights.

North of the wall raid in season 7. They stumble upon a scouting party led by one WW. They kill it and all but one of the wights dies. They use the lone wight to bring back to King's Landing.

Did you forget this whole scene?

That wasn't a "sacrifice the colored people first " moment.

It was about the unsullied sacrificing themselves bravely for the good of others. While the regular Westeros men fled like cowards the unsullied remained in formation to protect those men.

But I imagine most sjws will see it in the worst possible way.

Its not cowardice. Its the complete lack of hubris and ego.

When John and co go North of the wall to capture a wight, they kill a walker and all his minions die except one (magically).

It was smart battle strategy

He has so much ego

The NK only dies because he has to flex on Bran

This all would make more sense if we knew why the NK gave a shite about Bran

And theres the hook to get you to watch the next series. Its all about the Long Night. Likely Nk and 3ER have some bad beef and Bran at this point is no longer Bran hes the 3ER

The lack of strategy in this show kills me. When I saw the forces lined up outside the castle, I thought it was dumb. When I saw the cavalry in front I looked at my wife and said “that’s a stupid formation.” Then they rode off into the dark and I said “WTF?!?!”

Why there was no pre-planned choked point, why they weren’t at the twins, why they were outside the castle is all mind boggling!
