So many classic franchises and films have been remade the past 10 years so why hasn’t The Godfather been remade yet?
It’s the classic of all classes like how Michael is the boss of all bosses

Completely unnecessary and would be a huge mistake.
Having said that, the only producer/director who could do this that I would actually take a chance on and watch would be the Cohen brothers.

As debauched and hack-ish as Hollywood is in our modern era, there are still some things those talentless hooligans hold sacred. Classics such as The Godfather are considered off limits.

There’s a tv series about the “Black Mafia Family” that operated out of Detroit and Atlanta a few years back
Maybe they could tie the two storylines together
