I don’t know. I’d say maybe with the late 20s-30 group. I think a little older would go with Aladdin or beauty and the beast. I’d probably go with LK as my third or fourth of the big 4.

I guess I do forget that adults do go to these things without kids though so I may be looking at this from a parent of three little kids perspective

Parents are starting to hate Frozen though too, so I think that will count against it. No parent has that thought for the Lion King.

Wait what do you mean? Do you have kids? This is a kind of a weird take. Most parents I know (essentially everyone) get annoyed with just about anything the kids watch multiple times. Just because a parent is annoyed with the amount of times their kid watched the first one, doesn’t mean they’re going to skip the second one that their kid is begging to go see. It’s a Disney movie which first and foremost is for kids. What kind of a douchbag parent would do that?

Not a single non-prequel/sequel/reboot/spinoff. Just cash grabs galore.

They'll make billions.

Fvck a Disney.

Avengers 4 by a country mile. The better question is which makes the 2nd most?

My guess is Toy Story 4

Avengers and then I'd say Frozen 2. Frozen did 1.2 billion and financially the sequels typically do better. Frozen was freaking huge.

Either way, Disney is making a ton of money in 2019 good lord.

Frozen 2 or avengers. My money is on frozen 2.

They killed a significant portion of good will and benefit of the doubt from life long fans of star wars with episode 8. It will still have a big premiere but no way it will get repeat viewings like tfa.

Sadly star wars is done. Time to forget the past. Kill it if you have to...

Avengers 4 and Lion King will both get to 2 billion. Toy story 4 gets to 1.5. Frozen 2 right behind that.

My gut says Avengers the quality of IW make it a must see. But lion king is a dark horse worldwide.

Frozen 2: Parents will be lining up to watch Elsa go Lesbian... Not really Avengers 4 will make close to 2 billion

I think Avengers will top this list pretty easily. But it’s insane that Disney has at least five movies that have a legit chance to top a billion at the box office. They will be printing money next year. It’s almost crazy that they are releasing all of these in a single calendar year.

Not even counting Fox releases due up this year, assuming that deal closes soon.

Oh yeah and the launch of the streaming service..

Lion King is kind of dumb as they are just doing a full computer animation movie. I don’t have a desire to see it in theaters.

Yeah not to mention the Lion King broadway play
Sells out every single show every day for 10 plus years and has crossed the 1 billion gross for a broadway show
I saw it
Excellent
