I do think a lot of people will be apprehensive about this. Beauty and the Beast made 1.3 billion, and I think The Lion King could do 200 mil more than that. People will also be apprehensive about Frozen as well, but the amount Frozen has been forced down our throats.

Episode IX won’t cross a billion. Going with 750 million.

The Lion King will crush the competition.

Once, I would have said Star Wars, regardless of how shitty it will certainly be. But kids nowadays care way more about cool super heroes than Dad's ruined childhood at the hands of child molesters. And Dad is pissed, so he won't be dragging all of the kids to see it.

I think people are too high on lion king and too low on frozen. Frozen 2 will likely beat anything that isn’t the Avengers with the exception of maybe toy story IMO. Frozen is a money-making machine and has exploded in popularity since the original.
