quote:

It kind of symbolized the entire thing about overcoming division, death, standing up for what you believe in, supporting each other. Great use of a simple line.

WIthout a doubt a great line, but i have no idea how you got all of that out of it.
Cap originally said it to just be polite as a runner passing someone up. Falcon said it as a homage to that, but with a good bit of sarcasm in it considering he was actually passing him up for the first time. If you want to say it symbolizes having someone's back, then ok, but what you said doesn't really fit, in my opinion, although who am i to tell you how to interpret something

I don't think any line sums up a character's ethos like Captain America saying, "I could do this all day." A perfect summation of his moral judgement, devotion to duty, and sense of sacrifice no matter the odds or cost.

So many great ones, I'll post a few I haven't seen in this thread yet:

"If You're Nothing Without The Suit, Then You Shouldn't Have It."

"You know, I keep telling everybody they should move on and grow. Some do. But not us."

“I don’t want to kill anyone. I don’t like bullies. I don’t care where they’re from.”

“I just keep imagining you waking up in the morning, sir, looking in the mirror and then in all seriousness saying to yourself, ‘You know what would be a really kickass name? Taserface!'”

“You better sit this one out Cap...they’re practically gods”

“There’s only one God ma’am...and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that”

Going through this thread, it really is remarkable how well written and acted this series of movies was through the whole duration.

Friend from work is the funniest. Ruined in trailers but still gets me every time.

I quote “I have 10% of a plan“ most regularly though.

Luis’ quotes are the most underrated though.

You put in the dime, you gotta listen to the whole song.

My wife says I overexplain things and that’s my answer.

They gave this to agent Carter in the movie, but it's a Cap line:

Peter Parker: I'm Peter, by the way.
Stephen Strange: Doctor Strange.
Peter Parker: Oh, we're using our made-up names.

My favorite is from a guy in the theatre who right after this scene when Scarlett Johansson is walking away, he goes "no, THATS Americas arse".
