All the Marvel and DC stuff. I am hugely invested into Star Wars but i guess it is just a preference.
The Fast and Furious franchise is another. I have not watched more than 3 of those movies.

Sopranos - just recently tried to get through the pilot and could not.
You gotta give it more time than that. The pilot was basically a Goodfellas knockoff and Gandolfini didn't even have the Tony accent down much less the character. Not many series really hit the ground running, Seinfeld is my favorite sitcom ever but the pilot was hideous and I don't even like to watch the first couple of seasons

Stranger Things, I have tried on numerous occasions and I think I have seen the first season, but was just not interested in it at all.

I just finished the series for the first time. It took me several tries to get into it. Although I enjoyed it, I didn’t think it was as good as most people say. However, I found it to be really funny. If you go into it with that mindset, you may enjoy it.

Fast and Furious, never seen any of them
Black Mirror, couldn't get into it
Bloodline, I was forced to finish season 1 but halfway in I already didn't like any characters and expected nothing but screwing up
Archer

Surprised on Mad Men, I thought that had pretty universal appeal.
It has anostalgic appeal but for a lot of younger millenials and newer generations, we never knew that kind of workplace so it doesn't hit the nostalgic button the way it does for Gen X and Boomers and older millenials.
Thats my take at least.

TWD. I tried multiple times but zombies for the sake of zombies is boring.

Ted Lasso
1st season was awesome and actually got me into soccer.
2nd season was pretty good but too much drama started to seep in.
3rd season wasn't good.
To answer the OP, TWD and Breaking Bad

quote:I tried. First time, I quit in Season 1. A couple years ago by and I watch it through season 2 and give up. Years ago by. They won all these awards. More years go by, and I decided to watch, again. I pushed through and then middle of season 3 the show became great. I binge watched the entire series over a month. Awesome show, well deserving of the accolades. Here's a few photos I took in the Breaking Bad store in Albuquerque.
Breaking Bad.
I don't doubt it's an excellent show, so let me preface with that. But I tried to watch it and it just didn't click for me. I've considered giving it another try in the future to see if it was just a space I was in when I tried before.

The wire.
A couple of years ago, I watched about 3 episodes and turned it off. It frickin' sucked.

Seinfeld. Never understood the appeal. Frasier was the far superior 90s NBC sitcom
I mean, I'm probably at a middle ground here. Seinfeld was better than Friends, for sure. I would have Frasier and NewsRadio (w/ Hartman - and was only on Thursday on special occasions, 3 times) both ahead of Seinfeld, though.

first few episodes of each wire season are all set up. Each one is very much a 3 act story thru 12 episodes. Season 1-3 are pretty self-contained and the show could have ended season 3. 4 is amazing, 5 is rushed and has plenty of flaws with some great parts still
1-4 are as good as TV gets
