I was never that big into walking dead but that feels like the best example of a show bleeding out it’s fanbase

There was a time where it was just as much a part of the zeitgeist as Game of Thrones and everyone talked about it constantly. And I remember them announcing during that time that they had no plans to ever end the show and will just keep going as long as they can and I felt like that was a bad idea and sure enough they found a way to do it so long they broke even the hardest committed fans by the end. The people still around for what ended up being the end of that show is probably more inline with the people who watch the premiere episodes of Pawn Stars on that same channel

Sons of Anarchy and Suits

Gave up on both of them also. SOA was like a poor man's Sopranos. A bunch of try hards.

Suits was full of douche bags and I didn't care to watch any more of the pompous acting douche bags.

The Blacklist. Watched it until episode 4 of the second season. Then realized it was turning into a stylized soap opera with all of the stereotypical trappings. Too bad really. Great concept, and well executed at the beginning.

The Expanse about two or three episodes into season 4. Looked like they were trying way too hard to create a senseless bad guy. Unfortunate because they had a really awesome setup with the first 3 seasons and a wonderful back story to work with based on that. The creators just sort of gave up.

Nisha Aur Uske Cousins. Classical case of a studio and some writers putting together something kinda experimental to maybe fill in a time slot, only it actually turned into a hit. Problem is that after about 30 or so episodes, the writers clearly didn't have any idea what to do with the concept, so they just fell back on the standard Bollywood daytime drama tropes and the show fell apart.

Better Call Saul.

I am a huge fan of Breaking Bad, and Saul Goodman is my favorite character. I was looking forward to BCS but just never got into it. The toilet thing, the brother with the electricity phobia (or whatever it was), and some other stuff just bored me early on. BB had me from the start to finish, though. I like El Camino too.

I know a lot of people like BCS (some even more than BB), and I am sure it gets better as it progresses. I may give it another try at some point, but those first few episodes were dull.

Yep. It's like Steve Martin's character said in Planes, Trains & Automobiles...

"When you're telling these long stories, here's an idea... Have a point. It makes it so much more interesting FOR THE LISTENER!"

House of Cards started awesome and went to absolute shite even before Spacey was kicked off.

It should have ended with Underwood knocking on the Resolute Desk.

That said, I watched every season but the last one. I checked out after Spacey was removed.

Weeds and heroes started off great, but fell off with a quickness.

The office after Michael leaves. To this day, I haven't been able to watch all of seasons 8 and 9. I just lose interest quickly

Dallas. We watched season 1 last year.

—Season 1 is the worst of the series. It got really fun after that. Try again with S 3

Same. Got tired of the same formula on repeat. Quit the Walking Dead after the finale where they finally got Negan and had him out by some tree.

Battlestar Galactica. I just don't like the soap opera plots.

The Boys, The Simpsons, lots of others.

I usually finish a series but on rare occasions give up --I gave up on Walking Dead after Rick Grimes left. I gave up House of Cards a little before Spacey was kicked off. I binged outlander up to the point where I had to wait awhile for a new season but never went back to it..I still might though.
