The Walking Dead was the first one I can think of as far as quitting one that I really enjoyed.

I remember myself, my roommates, and our girlfriends making sure to watch it together every week on cable. Keeping up with watching it started to feel like a relationship that'd gone stale but you kept trying to make it work. I quit when Negan killed some of my favorites.

Too many to count. The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, and Lost, to name a few. It would be easier to name the ones that kept me interested and entertained until the end, which would be Mad Men and Black Sails.

Ozark. Halfway into season 2 I was like frick all these people, kill each other off.

Ozark gets a little stretched here and there but it’s worth pushing through to the end. Also don’t want to oversell it either - it’s at least a solid watch with some great moments. The finish has some things that some people questioned or disliked, some did not.

Supernatural

Was gonna be my pick as well. I managed to make it a little past the first 5 seasons, but fell off around that initial Men of Letters stuff.

Also…

Archer

Pretty much all of the Marvel Netflix shows

Justified City Primeval. Pushed so hard on racial lines, that I gave up on one of my all time favorite shows.

The Boys
Westworld
New Dexter
Stranger Things

So many during Covid that we didn’t necessarily not like, just something else came out. We don’t watch as much tv these days so probably will never.

I feel you on the Stranger Things comment... feels like they're about to (if not already) jump the shark with where it goes.

Wrap up this season and call it. Don't go down the GOT road...

TWD and FTWD
Westworld
Ozark
Man in the High Castle (didn’t watch the final season)
Archer
Stranger Things
Lot of the CW shows after 2-3 seasons

Probably a bunch more I fell behind on and just never caught up

As a Stranger Things fan, I’m kinda hoping this upcoming season is the last one if done correctly. The show is good, actually really good, so if you’ve given up on it, give it another try.

Peaky Blinders is a show I thoroughly enjoyed, but I also like anything Tom Hardy and/or Cillian Murphy do. Also a fan of the time period so that may have swayed me towards it some more.

At its peak seemed everyone and their aunt watched the show. It was so crazy popular. That whole cliffhanger thing with Negan really killed it off. Now I feel a lot of people forget it existed unless brought up.

Somehow still got a bunch of spinoffs that I’m sure majority of former fans don’t know exists

I forgot I did finish Friday Night Lights...which was a major accomplishment when they threw Season 2 at you out of left field and you just powered through hoping for another Season 1.

I saw Heroes mentioned. Probably the earliest I ever bailed on a show that was popular.

The Walking Dead. Really enjoyed the first 5 or so seasons, and then just stopped watching it. I loosely kept up enough to realize how convoluted the story had become and that I would never go back and watch the rest of it
