5 pages in and not a single mention of Jason Vorhees? I must be a p*ssy
Was a little older by that time, but Michael should be mentioned

Yep, Unsolved Mysteries for me too. My mom would watch it at night and just hearing the theme song from my bed would scare the shite out of me

Michael Myers always scared me more than Jason ever did.

There was some TV movie about a mutant bear attacking campers - think it was The Prophecy.. Every time I camped out after watching it I was terrified that a mutant bear was going to attack camp.

Gene Shalit. My mom said when I was little I would run out of the room screaming the fuzzy faced man was going to get me.

This made-for-TV movie about the abduction & murder of John Walsh's son Adam scared the crap out of me.
Oh, and this...

Oh, and this...

That and Rescue 911 came on back to back many times. Both made you scared after watching them.

For me, it was Lady Elaine Fairchilde on Mr. Rogers. As a five-year-old, that bitch was the scariest fricking thing I had ever seen. I don't know why anyone thought designing her was a good idea.

1. Television movie (1973) Don’t Be Afraid of The Dark.
2. The (1978) Movie , COMA.
3. Six Million Dollar Man Episode with the Fembots.
Lastly, there was a movie or documentary where a witch allegedly cursed three men to death. One man dies in a plane crash and another one dies in a parachute incident. ???

were these creatures on Sigmund or land of the lost?

Yes on “The Town that Dreaded Sundown”. My great grandfather was sheriff in Texarkana when the murders occurred. I had heard the stories before I saw the movie.

This one comes to mind too but I wasn't a little kid. The police calling her back and telling her the calls were coming from the inside of the house

Killer Clowns from Outer Space. It was some shitty movie that always came on HBO or Cinemax back in the day.
