I think Halo could be made into great movies...as we saw of course in the Forward Unto Dawn episodes.

The one that seems perfect to be made into a movie is Uncharted. I always pictured Timothy Olyphant playing Drake but they would end up using Josh Duhamel or some shite.

I don't care what anyone says, I loved Mortal Kombat. I still watch it anytime I see it on.
The story behind Doom, specifically Doom 3, is taylor made for a movie. You could probably do two movies out of it. But you can't make Doom into a movie and take out Hell. It is a central and key component of the entire franchise. There was not a single bigger slap in the face than making it some genetic engineering shite gone wrong.
I enjoyed Prince of Persia for what it was. Had a hell of a cast. Tomb Raider was okay, and Resident Evil should have been way better. A Movie/Game that doesn't get enough credit is Silent Hill. I know they deviated substantially from the plot of the game, but there are some pretty bleak and freaky scenes in the movie. Mario Bros is so campy you cant help but like it.
I'd love to see someone do Doom correctly.

Also, Uwe Boll is also one of the worst directors ever and how the hell did he get the movie rights to so many games?
I tried watching this movie a few months ago. It was pretty dumb.

The Resident Evil movies have done well enough for 3 or 4 to be made.
There are 5 movies actually. There ability to make enough money to justify another sequel has absolutely no bearing on the quality of the movies. If you want to watch some bad films to make fun of with some friends, then The Resident Evil series are certainly a good option.

I have yet to see a proper representation of the simpliest game of Beer pong, so i dont trust any film maker to do a game movie right with a complicated plot and characters that have already been created visually without a person

Perhaps games should just be accepted for what they are. They were ultimately designed to immerse you into the story by playing the role of the lead character. You can't really duplicate this same feeling on the big screen.

Halo already has a short film called Forward unto Dawn, I think they did it as a web series or something cause it was in multiple parts. It was ok.

I feel like if the movie studios would stay closer to the stories the games lay out for them they would be far better films.
Instead they seem to think "Oh its a video game movie so we can fart out whatever bullshite we feel like" and leave us with a half baked half assed product that both fans of the game and mainstream audiences don't care to see. They then use that failure as an excuse to not make another game movie while ignoring the fact they put frick all effort into the script.
I am also shocked that the Resident Evil films have made as much money as they have b/c aside from a few random game characters thrown in they barely resemble the games and have a far dumber story arc than anything Capcom has ever come up with.
