I'll be honest, anyone putting Total Recall or Commando over True Lies is just wrong. Conan has an argument but not those two.

People picking only one Terminator movie and having True Lies?

Are we combining the Terminators?

The Terminator is his fame, first mega blockbuster. T2 are we leaving that off? That's his biggest movie ever.

True Lies is fine but its not The Terminator or T2.

What I gather from this thread is that there are a lot of people who have never seen Conan: The Barabarian.

Because no list of Arnold's can even exist without it. There's a Conan club, and I'm glad I'm in it.

On this list. Its really a battle for the 4th spot.

I consider T1 and T2 as 1 slot, so you also have to include Predator and Conan without question.

So that leaves the likes of Commando, Total Recall, True Lies, The Running Man, Twins, Kindergarten Cop, and Last Action Hero all fighting it out for the last spot.

The Running Man

I don't begrudge Conan but Total Recall is just as important as it transitioned him from a robot to True Lies. Plus that movie is the last iteration of 80s bonkers before the real 90s hit...1992-1998.

Kindergarten Cop is a great movie but over Total Recall?

That said, you have to have both Terminators.

Predator is also a given. That leaves Conan and Total Recall. Maybe Kindergarten Cop to add levity.

Arnold has some pretty underrated films, such as Eraser and Last Action Hero. And I am going to have to leave one or two off that I really don't want to. I feel like T2 and Predator are must-haves. That only leaves two spots for the rest. But gun to my head, I'll go:

T2
Predator
Total Recall
Kindergarten Cop

I hate leaving off True Lies and Twins (which is vastly underrated and largely forgotten IMO), but that's how a Rushmore works.
