I'll go Hostiles with Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike.

I absolutely loved this movie. Great story. Great acting. Great direction. Great scenery.

same. Timothy Chalamet, Ben Foster, Jesse Plemons, Bill Camp, Ryan Bingham, and Johnathan Majors are also in it. Really strong cast.

The Survivors 1983 is a great comedy with Walter Matthau, Robin Williams and Jerry Reed. Even the people who made the movie seemed to dislike it, but it is one of my favorite "underrated" films.

Some good ones in here:

25th Hour - Norton's monologue in the mirror is awesome.

Tao of Steve - Be desireless, be excellent, be gone.

The Stoned Age - Don't worm Crump's brother's chicks.

I've watched pretty much all that I can find on Prime with an above 7.0 IMDB rating

Well I don't have prime but I found a site that lists all the movies on prime where you can filter by IMDB score and the thing is they don't have any movies below a 7.0 IMDB score.

My advice would be to find a different viewing option other than prime if you want to see movies under a 7.0

One that comes to mind is The Shrine. It’s a horror movie. I think it was one that people missed. Also The Triangle,

I’d say “Prisoners” (2013) It’s dark, tense, and brilliantly acted, but it never got the mainstream hype it deserved.

Good choice. That movie made me legitimately uncomfortable watching it. Very intense.

Event Horizon is WAY better than the 36% rating it has. Sam Neil was very memorable in it. I think it suffered a bit because people were expecting pure sci-fi and got something else with it. Apparently the studio cut a good amount of it, and a lot of people think a directors cut would really make it a classic sci-fi/horror film.

Event Horizon was edited poorly for a variety of reasons but, per the director, the materials which were cut aren’t in good enough shape to allow for a restored cut.

They were thought lost completely but turned up in some salt mine in Romania or somewhere else fairly random.

I like the film but it is also a mix and match of pieces from a lot of other films. It steals one particular scene whole from Outland, a generally forgotten Sean Connery film.

Flatliners is a movie that just came to mind for me. Seems like it’s been forgotten with time, but is still really good and I like the premise.

Underrated with a good cast, including John Cusack, Ray Liotta, and Jake Busey.
