Setting the tone early in The Batman. Great vibe:
Nirvana/Something In The Way

Perhaps my favorite, and what got me to thinking about this post. I smile and am glad for Django every time:
Jim Croce, I Got A Name, Django Unchained

Before anyone knew the MCU was going to blow up, it was kicking arse from the opening scene:
Back In Black, Iron Man

Made Bohemian Rhapsody a bigger hit than it ever was before:
Bohemian Rhapsody, Wayne's World

One of the greatest driving/choreography/police chase scenes ever set to music and film:
Bell Bottoms, Baby Driver

I'll add two for Drive. First one establishes the perfect mood for the film:
Nightcall, opening credits

The other goes perfectly with a budding romance...and I would wife Carrie Mulligan up with a quickness:
A Real Hero

The Big Chill -- The entire movie. Starting with I Heard It Through the Grapevine and ending with Joy To the World. My favorite was You Can't Always Get What You Want.

As mentioned Tiny Dancer...

Not surprised Cameron Crowe would have a few being a rock journalist early on connoisseur...though who knows if he picked this song as just the writer.

The Cars, moving in stereo

Its about as close to a porn riff at the right time without actually being a porn riff. I mean, it's the perfect rock song for this fantasy Brad has.

I always thought the scene in Heat where Al Pacino is riding in the helo before he 1st confronts De Niro, and Moby’s “New Dawn Fades” starts to play. That was $$$$

I came here to post this. No movie I can think of uses pop music as well or to set the tone like Goodfellas.
