Now it's starting to heat up. Looks like we are going to have a battle royale at the Mesa. Don't think Elsie and Charlotte will make it. MIB and Maeve will finally hook up it seems. Hmm... thought just came to me. Will Maeve try to kill MIB's daughter out of revenge?

Noticed in the trailer that when Angela meets a QA dude, he seems stiff. Hmm... does that mean the response team are hosts?

And of course, Dr. Ford is BACK and badder than ever. Poor Bernard.

Trailer

Think things are picking up tonight. Ford's back. Hosts are inside the mesa.
And one of my high school classmates is playing a tac team thug.

Interesting theory. This youtube video posits that Charlotte is engaged in some corporate espionage for some outside group. That Coughlin's team is not Delos, hence the confused look on Stubbs' face and why Delos wasn't notified about the massacre for two weeks.

Is there a place to find a good character list without watching a youtube video?

I'm completely lost on some of the secondary characters' names.

I really like HBOs new “previously on” montages

Flash cuts to remind you what happened instead of long drawn out scenes that tell you exactly what plots will be in this episode like they do with game of thrones

Well. That sure was eventful!

If I understand correctly, the hosts are now no longer immortal because Angela and her fine arse tittays blew up the Cradle. Ford is also now on the move in his brand new Bernard suit. MiB is gutshot and bleeding out. Maeve got swiss-cheesed (there was cheering in my house). RIP, Larry (I poured one out for my dead homie). Delores is walking around with Daddy in her pocket. Teddy is still a scary badass.

Is that about it?

Did I miss something, though? What good is the key in Abernathy's control unit if the Cradle and its information is gone? Wasn't that what the key was supposed to decrypt, or did I miss something and the key is for something else entirely?

EDIT: Also, ANTHONY frickING HOPKINS. I wasn't sure last week if he was going to be more than a quick distorted reflection. I'm glad they were able to get him back in the show. His acting and presence alone makes the story telling so much better.

In the words of Lawrence...Mawtherfawker.

Next week looks like Ghost Nation back story.

Assume Emily finds her Dad and fixes him up.
Surprised (kind of) Dolores spared Charlotte and Mauve.
Where’s Elsie??
Talulah Riley going out hot!

So is there more than one Bernard out there in operation right now?

Not that I'm aware of. There's just the one that's had one hell of a two weeks.

I'm still not convinced that it's not Arnold because 'Bernard' is glitchy as frick and this is about how long it takes for cognitive plateauing to start. Ford's explanation of why we saw Delores baselining Bernarnold, though, seems to point to there never being a stored copy of Arnold, but rather a Bernard built mainly on Delores' stored memories of him. Which, when you think about it, is really all a stored human is from what Ford told us. Delos would just spend years recording every tiny mannerism and choice to enable them to make a simulacrum meant to be indistinguishable from the human, but NOT really an exact copy of the real thing. Whatever that means.

I was kind of occupied watching the episode so I'll have to check more later, but I think that Abernathy's control unit has the cradle backed up inside of it. I think the data in the unit itself is encrypted, which would make sense as to keep prying eyes from seeing Delos' entire IP.

Interested in seeing Fornard do some misdeeds!

Ohhh. That would make sense, then. Delores blew up the real thing and has the only copy left in dad's thinker. It wasn't enough for her to just put Abernathy down to stop his suffering, she had to take the data from his head to make sure that Delos didn't get it and to make destroying the cradle (and those beautiful tatas) mean anything.
