quote:check out zero, zero, zero on Amazon. It’s a series and it’s not quite Sicario but it’s good and has the same type of feel and production value. The story is a little bit more out there too similar to Sicario 2 but it’s excellent and better than Sicario 2
Movie about the mexican drug cartels and the United States going off the grid to catch/kill the drug lords.

for what it's worth two weeks ago msn ran an article quoting josh brolin saying a third is very real it also teased emily blunt returning as well.
hope so i loved both movies
steve forsing is supposedly based on a real CIA guy
The character Steve Forsing in the film Sicario is based on Mike Vining, a former U.S. Army operator who served with the Delta Special Forces Unit and had extensive experience in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and infantry. Forsing's anonymous and anonymous appearance in the film was influenced by a photo of Vining, who was a real-life operative

Taylor Sheridan was doing his best work when he rattled off this and then Hell or High Water.
Sicario, Hell or High Water, and Wind River may be the best 3 movie run by a director/writer not named Nolan or Villanueve (I know DV directed Sicario)

Peak Taylor Sheridan
add in Yellowstone season 2,3, 1883, 1923 and Landman. Sheridan has most of my favorite shows right now. Haven't watched any of his other shows.

Very, very good movie and very, very dark.
"You’re asking me how a watch works, for now just keep an eye on the time." GREAT line!

Wind river is a really good one. Look on IMDB and see where it's streaming.

One of my favorite movies. In my opinion, the second one is just as good. Enjoy!

If you watch it again, notice how much the score adds to the mood of the movie. It's ominous throughout the entire movie.

Who did you side with Josh Broilin or Emily Blunt?
Emily Blunt, basically was told by her boss that this is the new way to deal with the drug cartel? The boundries have been changed, by an office with elected officials.
She tried to shut it down, multiple times, because of the legalitity of the situation.
At the end, but was threatened with her life, so she signs the paperwork.
The CIA Intervenes when a drug cartel becomes to big and starts waging war in the US.

Border scene was great, basically a commercial for Eotech

Tough for me to not side with Matt. He makes a really good point, the "right" way isn't accomplishing shite and his way is producing results.
Now its easy to also think that the CIA doing shite like that has majorly fricked some global politics and gotten lots of innocent people enslaved or killed, and I cant switch off my "what are the hidden effects of this" mindset. For the sake of the movie though, I gotta side with the guys getting cartel leaders whacked at their own dinner tables.

Yes it was a great line. Also the tension build when he was sleeping and she saw his hand shaking. Superb.
