Man that shite looked and sounded terrible.. the voice actoring, the unnecessary chatter on the radio, the maneuvers, etc….. just looks like a C list movie with Tom Cruise shoved in it

You're not by yourself. I have high hopes for the movie but I don't know what it is with Tom Cruise, I know he's older but I didn't expect him to lose his charisma along with his youth. He's just kinda boring now. Downvote away

I watched this in the theater when I went to see Dr Strange, and I thought it look damn good on the big screen.
I mean, will it have some crazy/unrealistic aerial maneuvers and stuff, and some cheesy dialog...sure. But what do you expect from a Top Gun sequal.

They were solid movies but I wouldn't say I'm a fan of them. But I'm also not a big action fan and I've been a little disappointed Tom Cruise has gone almost exclusively action genre later in his career. I have always thought he was underrated as an actor and hoped he'd do something more dramatic but it doesn't look like he will

Every Tom Cruise movie seems to have a shot of him running as fast as he can...just like every John Travolta movie seems to have a shot of him dancing.
(Except Tropic Thunder...there, words collide and the only action shot of Cruise is of him dancing).
