Pauly Shore‘s performance as Richard Simmons is seeing the light of day, less than a week after plans for a feature film biopic were announced. A 10-minute short film starring Shore, titled “The Court Jester,” premiered at the Cabin in Park City on Friday. The event wasn’t an official Sundance Film Festival screening, but was certainly positioned to draw in festivalgoers.
“The Court Jester” is now available to watch online through the Lewis Brothers’ YouTube channel. A second screening at the Cabin is set for Jan. 22. The director, Jake Lewis, went viral with his Robin Williams impersonation. It stars Jesse Heiman, best known as a conspicuous extra who has appeared in films like “Spider-Man,” “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” and “The Social Network.” Heiman plays a segment producer who partners with Simmons amid backstage drama at a talk show.

I suspect if there is any dick sucking in this movie Pauly Shore really went the method actor route to prepare for the role.

Man, Pauly Shore. Talk about a short, bright flame. He lasted about 2 years in the mainstream and then just vanished.

To be fair - Encino man to biodome is a five year spread. And I’m still haunted by him and that Baldwin chewing their toe nails on biodome.
Pauly Shore really missed out on the animation explosion with franchises like shrek and Madagascar. His voice and cadence is pretty unique. I can an imagine an alternative universe where he voices some animal or character on a big animated movie franchise and cashes checks for a long time.

Man, I saw Pauly Shore on Ridiculousness a few months back and I thought the cat was funny as shite. Came across as very likable.

Richard Simmons… watch one of his old workout videos and you’ll be reminded there were plenty of fat chicks in the 80s too.
Enough to make him a lot of money.

Sure I remember him well but is there anything about him that merits a bio? Of all the untold stories in history we gonna get this

When I first heard Shore was playing RS, I thought "good choice, they look a lot alike"
After seeing the clip, I'm all I see is the Weez in a bad fright wig...not believable at all. How hard is it for any actor to raise your voice and act flamboyant? Apparently, too difficult for Pauly.

Apparently, he and his family are pretty unhappy about this. He had been trying to retire in anonymity. No one authorized using his likeness and none of the info was confirmed by his camp.
