see what all the fuss is about. wonder how many people will do the same.

Disney makes money because you were born. Think about that.
Every birth in this country is basically money in Disney's pocket. Someone from somewhere will buy you something from Disney as a kid. Could be a card, an action figure, a movie. Your birth is for Disney's profit. I'm not sure any other company can say that.

It is an entertaining movie if you don't go into it looking for flaws or a political agenda.

It's difficult to explain. The SJW approach is a big reason, half of the plot can literally be removed in editing affecting nothing, nonsensical plotholes, and there are unexpected turns that are just terrible.

Basically everything to do with Rose. She has now passed Jar Jar as the worst character in the entire franchise, and BB-8 is giving Jar Jar some serious competition as well.

Same here. If you take Star Wars really seriously, I can understand some disappointment. But I liked it.

Too long, a major subplot really sucked and featured two very uninteresting main characters, the stakes somehow decreased over the course of the movie, nobody acted logically even by movie standards.
And yes, muh Luke didn't do what I wanted him to do.

me too, I have been staying away from the board for the most part. I defended it right after then it just wasnt worth it so i am just trying to wait out the weeping and gnashing of teeth

And the SJW stuff is there I guess, if you look for it. I think if Disney didn’t own the franchise the SJW stuff wouldn’t be talked about as much. And also if movie critics didn’t constantly preach it.

It was pretty heavy handed in TLJ though. You can't watch Holdo and Rose and not see it. I mean they literally beat you over the head with "GRRRRL POWAAH!!!"
As I've said before, the Rey/Ren plot was very, very well done. Same with Luke, although I know many will disagree.
But that B Plot. Jesus man that was HORRIBLE.

I don't see how you can possibly miss it. It's the most overt use I've ever seen of it in a blockbuster. I would have walked out of the theater with one thing Rose says right before they leave the Casino planet.
