I hoped he’d come back and wreck shite but it didn’t outrage me that he didn’t.
The thing that should outrage you is him tossing the lightsaber over his shoulder. Just imagine if TFA had instead ended on that note? The fans would have raged. No way in hell that was JJ’s intention for that scene.

Entertaining like eating a cupcake. First one is good and gets worse and worse with additional cupcake.
Movie is flawed. Weird story arcs that mean little overall because the main arc just runs them over. Lots and lots of logic issues. For example, the First Order can track a ship in hyperdrive but can't detect, either by advance tech or visually, 20 smaller shuttles leaving the main ship. No TIE fighter maintaining a visual...no advance sighting space telescopes, nothing. Logic issues all around.

why are the fans so rustled?
There are women in charge of things and muh Luke didn't do what i wanted him to do.
Overt potiical statements being made. Can't we just have a Star Wars movie and watch NFL without the messages?

Not me. Rey is bae. I wanted to eat her booty the whole movie.

I didn’t care for that. I wanted Luke to be badass.

How about a Star Wars movie with no light saber duels? You can't really call two Matrix style dodges by fake Luke a true duel.

Yeah that sucked. It’s also the reason I don’t care about the Han Solo movie. I want to see Jedi stuff. I was disappointed in Luke. I still enjoyed the movie overall.

Lord of the rings would never sell out like that. Star Wars. LOtR >>> Star Wars

Do you even Rogue One?

Disney makes money because you were born. Think about that. Every birth in this country is basically money in Disney's pocket. Someone from somewhere will buy you something from Disney as a kid. Could be a card, an action figure, a movie. Your birth is for Disney's profit. I'm not sure any other company can say that.

Rogue One had Darth Vader wrecking shite like a boss, that's close enough.

see what all the fuss is about. wonder how many people will do the same.
so if it's good, disney makes money. if it's bad, they still make money. damned if you do, damned if you don't
You say you weren't going to see TLJ, so that means you aren't part of the fanbase Disney was investing in when they bought this property. Intrigued by the fuss? You could go see it in theaters (they get profit), you could stream it fairly easily (zero profit), or you could wait for blu-ray (minimal) or redbox release (even less). You may or may not be interested in the next one, so they can't add you to the future pot.
But by pushing out a polarizing film that creates some buzz, they put that future pot in some risk. They're banking that as loud as fans whine and bitch, they're still all-in for the future films. If they antagonize enough people, that won't be the case.
Lucasfilm, outside of Star Wars, is not worth the investment. I don't think ILM is worth that, not at the price, and with the overall strides made in CGI across the board.

See it, it’s good. The complaints by many are ridiculous.
