I've done a reread of the comic about a dozen times, and I much prefer the show. Kirkman's writing is awful.

Basically all we are left with is Great Value TWD... it’s a fricking shell of how good it used to be... I almost had flashbacks of being pumped up about the show when Maggie and company realized that Negan had blocked the roads again, but even that situation was underwhelming.. cocomo hit on a lot of points I agree with, so there’s no need in repeating all of it

With that being said, some positives:

Besides Negan, simon is my favorite character on the show.. they couldn’t have casted that part any better IMO

Carl’s (basically) dead - assuming they aren’t trying to pull some tomfrickery



Wow... i really can’t defend this show anymore. Next season needs to be a whole lot better, or I’m out.. this was a 2/10 as far as a midseason finale is concerned
