My siblings and I put up with each other though we differ, but someone abandoning a brother because he dates teens seems like something pretty ordinary in this world.
I can't imagine ditching my brother because he tried to hook up with a 17 year old.

Sure, except he didn't do that.

Nah. It’s called personal responsibility for his behavior. And stop pretending like he’s sitting in jail somewhere.
It wasn’t just sleeping with film students of consenting age. Doing things like removing the modesty guard during sex scenes with women is an issue.
Where do you get your green hair dye?

Definitely not that

As for me personally, Id still watch something if Franco was cast. I recently watched 11.22.63 and thought it was good

One of the first projects I worked on was a Franco film and almost didn't believe the allegations because he was such a gentleman. Complete opposite of his public persona. He was very reserved and respectful toward his cast and crew. I know most people have a dark side but damn I never could see him stooping that low.

I think the last time I dyed my hair something other than a natural color was almost 25 years ago, was blue tips, and I was going to see Coal Chamber and Ill Niño on the Jagermeister Tour.
But for the sake of your BS, the same place you get your reasonable discourse.

I have far less issue with him sleeping with students of an age where they can consent and more with just pushing his creepy shite (like removing the protective pieces during sex scenes) on folks who were in a position if they said no, they likely lose the opportunity to continue to pursue their profession.
It’s like the creepy drunk Uncle at the family gathering that isn’t catching a charge but you’re avoiding.

Did he know? Or was there some ambiguity?
A certain rock band member in the 70’s was openly ‘dating’ a younger teen. Pretty sure she’d go on tour with him.
And Hollywood still celebrate Roman Polanski for him drugging up a 15 yr old. And having sex with her.
But trying… whoa! #Canceled!

Crazy Seinfeld was never really called out for dating a high school girl at 40.

Well he was kind of called out by Howard Stern and Janis Ian. But yeah if it happened more recently he would have been canceled.
