My biggest reaction is with Rogen and Dave, even accounting for the DMs to the 17-year-old, I just found out about.
I never read much about this, only seeing headlines. After seeing this video and the posts in this thread, I read up on it.
My conclusion is that Franco did some weird stuff, but Rogen and Dave are pieces of shite for bailing on him like that.
He must have been cancelled right before the clock ran out. Because the TJ Miller and Aziz Ansari "metoo'ing" pretty much ended the movement for rational people.

You wouldn't try and talk with your brother or friend and try and help him in some way. Or at least try and talk some sense into him? Give some advice or something? People make mistakes.
This is not drop your flesh and blood worthy offense. They were clearly doing it so they didn't damage their career by association and let them take a moral high ground.

I will say, despite Rogen being what seems like a pretty big douche, his newer comedy on Apple+, The Studio, is freaking hilarious. Well worth a watch.

I can’t say that I’d blame Franco. He was rich and famous and living in LA during a time when social media was non-existent and college girls were much more open to getting aggressively hit on by random guys.
Say what you want about Franco, but you can’t deny that he’s an incredibly versatile actor and has a lot of charisma. Way more talented than Rogen by a mile.

Yeah sure it existed then, but there was absolutely a difference between today's generation of college girls versus college girls in the early to mid 2010s. You can't deny that.

Russell Brand was an avowed atheist liberal who is a self admitted sex addict.
He never had anything brought against him during me too even when he went libertarian during Covid over the shots.
Then he converted to Christianity, went right and all the sudden the accusations on cold cases start showing up from nowhere.
The timing and optics on it are just like the crazy woman who went after Trump for rape a couple years back.
