Nah. It’s called personal responsibility for his behavior. And stop pretending like he’s sitting in jail somewhere.
It wasn’t just sleeping with film students of consenting age. Doing things like removing the modesty guard during sex scenes with women is an issue.

Franco pushed the limits of celebrity entitlement just when society hit it with a laser focus (and he got burned). He picked a bad time to be an intergenerational player. Why these guys who have the attractiveness and power to easily get with most women of an undeniably legal age, instead decide to go after jail bait, is beyond me. Seinfeld should be in his synagogue every day, giving thanks that he dated his high school girl before the world deemed that a capital social offense.

That's not the whole story. The one that got him actually cancelled were the girls that were underage and revealed messages with Franco with him trying to get them to have sex with him.
Trying to have sex with a 17 year old and not doing it is pretty low on the things to get cancelled for and your boys and freaking brother ditching you because of it it pretty crappy too. Seeing a Rogen and Dave probably hooked up with an underage girl at some point too.
I can't image ditching my brother because he tried to hook up with a 17 year old.
