Update: Finished Jurrasic World Dominion: Not great but gets a little better

Update: 2nd half had some fun action sequences. But movie overall lacked direction, and too many awkward forced acting that was unnecessary.
Chris Pratt was good, and Jeffery Goldblum had some good moments.
Would rather they go back to anamatronics instead of the CGI for the dinosaurs.

Saw it tonight and it sucked. Worst one of the 6 by far. Will never watch it again. Did I say this movie sucked yet? It did and massively

Same exact feeling. I might have enjoyed 45-60 seconds total of the movie. Malcolm had some funny lines....the one about the 'promise' had me legit LOL. However it was pretty predictable and I hope this franchise is dead.

Yep. There were some intriguing action sequences, but quite a bit of cheese.
The dinos have been losing their charm as the series has progress, but making them a norm in the universe killed just about what was left of the intrigue. It also seemed as though they tried to pack in as many dinos as possible and thus no fleshing out of the monsters.

Only so far you can take dinosaur movies past eye candy.
The best part of Jurrasic Park movies is when characters are shocked by living dinosaurs. Once you're past that it's just cgi action porn.

I saw it last night and it was a little better than I expected given all the negative stuff I'd seen about it.
Definitely a much better movie than Fallen Kingdom.

I went to a drive in to see it and found myself looking behind me watching Top Gun more often than I should have. And I’ve already seen that twice. I didn’t like Dominion. But in fairness, I didn’t pay much attention to it at all.
