Any chance that wasn't the kid who bullied his son?
Right now it seems the show was over-the-top with the somber tone like it was going for more style than substance. but I guess it's only the beginning.

I see why CF and RM would work this case, but why TK? He just stumbled upon the body as a suspended highway patrolman. Maybe he goes rogue?
Also, what were the guesses on all the stakes in the ground in the very beginning. Mass grave?

Watched if last night, it was solid.
I hope they don't go over the top with characters who are trying to do what's right but constantly get in their own way.
Already you've got Ray fricking up with his kid, Ani fricking up with her family and gambling, Paul being all depressed.
I know the whole point of the show is people are imperfect, I just hope it's not full of cringe worthy frick ups.
Still a great first episode

My lady friend thinks Kitsch's character is gay.

I thought it was markers for soil sampling... looking for contaminants.

So does the wife.

Yeah, that makes more sense. They were too organized to be a mass grave

Do the background on Vernon. Workers were making upwards of a quarter mil/year.

I got made fun of for mentioning that possibility

Would be kinda cliche and simplistic IMO.
What reason would he have to stay in the closet living in LA?

Movies and TV love to include a gay character now a days and make them look oppressed
Is it that hard to believe

And what about TY or ZK88? Also, let's not forget EW, QS, or KP. They could be major players.

I know, I hate when people do that too, but I'm on mobile and it's already been used plenty in this thread

'll disagree with this, they are featuring a part of LA probably never seen in movies or tv. After the first 20 minutes or so i was really perplexed as to why the southern industrial part of LA was the focal point, but by the end of show it made more sense as the scenery really fit the mood of the show.

If he lets Rachel mc adams frick him with a strap on in a later episode, does that make him a little gay?

No, not really. Just seems too easy at this point.
I think it's pretty obvious he has way bigger issues than battling his sexuality based on driving a motorcycle at 100 with no light and all the scars on his body..
BTW, can you even turn your lights off on a motorcycle? I mean assuming he didn't frick with it himself?
