He was around back in 95 and always seemed to have problems with Marty and Rust. Not sure what his rank was/is.

I wonder if that guy with the missing son who Rust interviewed will come back into the story, or if that was just showing how Rust was digging into old cases.

Also, I laughed when the ex-preacher lit up a j during his interview with Rust.

He was there before but I can't remember who he is. BTW, there is a sports radio guy whose name is Gerry Sandusky. Gotta feel for that poor bastard.

Is Deacon Farrar the lawn mower man? Surely they wouldn't introduce someone who we have never seen at this point?

I wouldn't waste my time on it. Decatur will be here shortly to explain what you should of taken from it.

But for real. Another great episode. This show is nothing short of amazing.

Has absolutely nothing to do with the story. But, I went to school with that guys daughter. He's a BR native and The Advocate did a piece on him. He's credited as "Cajun Man" LINK

Did you see the "frick you" look he gave Rust during the first meeting in the new police chiefs office?

I'm assuming someone already pointed out that the money Marty gave that girl was a down payment after all?

This isn't television. This is an 8 hour movie. The entire concept is revolutionary. All based upon one writer and one director. It is just a fantastic work of art, that happens to be incredibely entertaining.

There's no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best shows ever made. Everything from the writing, to the acting, the locations, the music played in particular scenes....wow. Everything has a purpose and nothing is wasted. This episode was great, and the next 2 episodes are going to be amazing. Pizzolatto is one of the best visionaries out there right now in the movie industry. HBO is the best channel right now on TV and has some amazing shows in its lineup.

Marty's just does stupid shite after stupid shite. Why on earth would you get involved with that crazy arse girl? Any common sense would have told you that she is damaged from her childhood.

Maggie is a whore.

I think the Rust & Marty's encounter in 2012 was before Marty's interview.

No doubt.

Other than your ponytail being a little longer, I see a little of you in Rust.
