Agreed. I also don't think we will see the FIL involved again. If martyr daughter is involved at all going forward it's going to be her later connections.

No one cares Maggie grudge fricked someone to get back at Marty. Just that it was rust. Just because her life is fricked up doesn't mean she had to drag rust in it.

His lie is what made her tell him. If he had confessed and showed remorse, she probably wouldn't have told him at all. If he confessed but didn't seem too remorseful, she would have said she fricked someone, maybe even someone he knew, and left it at that. Let it eat him because he couldn't be bothered to show remorse, she couldn't be bothered to tell him everything. But since he was an arrogant prick, she went HAM on his arse.
BTW, if Marty was any kind of Alpha, he would have pushed her up that kitchen counter when he had her neck firmly grasped and given her the Yellow King

Man only two hours of this show left. I have never in my life been this enthralled in a show and likely won't be again. I think it's the fact that they know up front it's 8 hours and you know you aren't getting the shift as a viewer. Every episode just builds.

It was a dick move on her part to use Rust to get back at Marty. I mean, really shitty. That's why Rust was so pissed. (At least he got his rocks off before becoming indignant.)
