II was entertaining, but not great. III was terrible.
What’s not great about the Turtles dancing on stage at a Vanilla Ice concert?
TMNT3 was just a complete campy mess.

The Matrix Trilogy is the obvious choice.
You're not wrong.
But I'm gonna say it. The scene from the second in the Chateau with all the weapons, that was by far the best fight sequence of the entire trilogy.
And you won't convince me otherwise. You can maybe get me to agree that it had less gravity than some from the first movie, but in terms of sheer "coolness," if that's a thing, that was the one.

The Hobbit. Desolation of Smaug was really enjoyable. Then it fell off a cliff.

That entire trilogy was just a long awful slog fest, unfortunately made it it forgettable for me.

quote:And the followup, as Norrington and his first mate watch Sparrow and young Turner sail off in the Interceptor which they have just stolen:
Commodore Norrington: “You are undoubtedly the worst Pirate I have ever heard of”
Jack Sparrow: “Ah, but you have heard of me....”
First Mate: “That’s got to be the best pirate I’ve ever seen.”
Norrington (through clenched teeth): “So it would seem!”

Austin Powers
- Intl Man of Mystery is an all-time classic, the next two suck rotten arse
Bad Boys
- II is a great cheesy action flick, the original is just okay
Bad News Bears
- Not grading on a curve here, obviously they're all great when you're a kid but only the original holds up now
Crocodile Dundee
- II is watchable but certainly worse than tbe original
Pitch Perfect
- First one is great in its own glorious cheesy fun way, then it blew up and they made 2 horrible cash grab sequels.
The Santa Claus
- First one is a bona-fide classic, I'm not gonna kick my wife outta bed if she puts the others on during the holidays but they are pretty much just for kids
Totally agree on Jurassic Park, POTC, and The Matrix.
Controversial opinion
The Mighty Ducks
- D2 is the only one I liked as a kid

How do you rank them?
"Trinity" was shite, obviously, but I did enjoy a lot of the concepts from 2 and Nomak was an excellent antagonist.
