It wasnt my favorite. Wasnt bad but it seemed to be missing something. Too much Jessie. Noticing the missing voices of the actors who passed sucks too but thats a personal thing. The message was great as a dad of 2 under the age of 12. I just cant put my finger on what was off about it to me

Saw it this morning. I was waiting to scan this thread until after I saw it for obvious reasons. I'm glad I waited as I would have gone in with high hopes. I'm surprised that so many liked it as much as they did. It certainly wasn't a bad movie. Just very forgettable. Could've been condensed to one of those 30 minute shorts they do every so often. Too much woe is me Bonnie, 8 year olds aren't that catty (they do get that way later), not enough of the other toys and main gripe is it was centered around Jessie. In fairness to the movie, I have never cared for Jessie very much. Her voice alone irritates me.
Anyway, I wish it would've been a more 'fun' movie. Maybe 6 will be.

My wife (no pics) & grandkids loved it.

Saw it tonight with the family. Everyone loved it. I hope they keep making these movies as long as they can. It’s really a joy to see these characters in these stories for so long. The writing is always on point and this one is no exception.
Conan was great as the Smarty Pants character.

We loved it. As far as I’m concerned, they should keep making them, but I admit it would be difficult without Hanks or Allen.

My only 2 minor nits was that I felt they underused Kaboom and Peep. Feels like she would have been more invested in helping her former toy family than just dropping woody off and peacing out.

They have done a fantastic job of where every movie is good and extremely relatable to both kids and parents. I hope they never stop. Make it the cartoon Bond

Bo has other things to tend to.
Should have added her this line in… “There are a lot of other of toys in the neighborhood, and unfortunately they don’t have you guys.”
ETA: They even underutilized Woody. I get it, it wasn’t his story this time. Maybe adding Bo would have just further diluted the cast.

When the buzz army got upgraded and was able to really “fly” I’m not gonna lie I teared up. Such a great callback to the first movie.
“Flying with style!”

Yep. I was waiting for Buzz to kiss Woody. But nothing. Just normal story.
Wife guilted my son into going. He’s 16 so he’s way too cool to admit he enjoyed it. He didn’t fall asleep. And kept his phone away. So he enjoyed it somewhat.

Saw it this past weekend and me and the Mrs. thoroughly enjoyed it.
I like that it was more light hearted than three and four but still had a ton of heart like all the Toy Story movies.
Legit teared up when Jessie found out her first owner named her daughter Jessie. That was awesome.
I'm sure there will be a six and I'll be there for it.
Over 600 million worldwide now. Probably won't cross a billion like three and four did but will be higher than one, two, and Lightyear.

As someone who hated on 4 and still thinks it never should have been made, this was good. Great story, topical, OG feel and tons of laughs.

We just watched this with our great niece. Wow. How do they keep coming up with original stories that are also winners? It really does prove that a well told story trumps everything.
And what an emotional gut punch with Jessie. I didn’t see that coming at all.
Good job Pixar.
