Just throwing it at the wall, see if it sticks. But a Badger/Skinny Pete cameo would be great.
Agree…
Wonder if the ending has Saul back in ABQ where he turns in himself. Pans to court scene and him firing his lawyer and telling judge he will represent him self and it fades to black.

Saul would not turn himself in.

I think that is key. I dont think Carol's character will be the one to make a connection though. Not sure if it will be Jeff, but that would make the most sense.
Yeah don't know who connects it, but I feel like her being standoffish to Gene then welcoming in her home, is relevant. If she we somehow feels betrayed by Gene, could 100 percent see her turning him in.

Could also just be a callback to Jimmy's elder law days; "Old people love me".
I think the real goal of this last episode was just to drive the fanbase batshit crazy trying to figure out what the frick is going to happen. If it was, they succeeded.

I thought the final seen was going to be him going into the store and asking if they had the coat in a certain size so they would realize it was missing and start digging… basically turning on those two for some larger reason, but he got distracted by the tie that reminded him of his Saul days and he changed his mind, new plan.
All that would do is draw the heat onto him, because if those two get busted they will 100% roll over on him, and they know that he’s Saul Goodman.
Mutually assured destruction means it’s bad for everyone involved if someone is busted.

Gene's reference to Walter.
What was the Walter reference? I missed that (although I did watch half at work so I couldn’t pay 100% attention).

The blackmail isn’t really that clean in my book.

Taking 3 coats out of the middle of the rack, or 3 shirts out of 3 big stacks is not noticeable but they're not gonna notice 2 air jordans for you when you steal 3 of like 5 pairs from the display stand until they run inventory? Come on, son.
tape erases after 72 hours the point is by the time they do notice it's too late
Why didn't Jeff wear a ski mask? There's no downside to doing so and it could help save him if they look at the tape before the 72 hours is up. The only real reason is to add to the drama of the scene. It was also a pretty big coincidence that out of the entire mall two cameras happened to be centered on where Jeff slipped, and the delivery crate. But I did enjoy the way Jimmy blew up their potential blackmail, and Carol Burnett being in the show, and the Bo Pelini reference.

Gene's advice on stealing suits

Can someone remind me how the other guy who stole the stuff knew he was Saul Goodman?
Posted on 7/26/22 at 8:06 pm to dallastiger55
He was living in Albuquerque during the events of BB and remembered Sauls ads

He ran with some seedy characters in Albuquerque and recognized him from his commercials. It probably threw you off because they recast Jeff from previous seasons.

A zombie Walt, that connects BB with the Walking Dead.
Vince Gilligan has stated he loves the BB->WD theory. :)
I read a rumor that lightning will strike the foundation of the old super lab, resurrecting zombie Howard and zombie Lalo. Howard's patronizing glare will be 10 times more powerful, completely paralyzing Gene with his shining white teeth and glowing eyes while Lalo comes around with a chainsaw.

He didn’t make a reference to WW in front of her, right? You’re assuming the son says something to her?

Just watched it. That's was a very sad episode to me. Jimmy's speach about his life is how he feels. He's completely alone and he can't afford to ever pursue a real human relationship again. He faked multiple friendships for the scam too which adds to it.

Kim makes her return in the final episode as his legal representation??
She’s not an attorney anymore.

That was a big screwup by him to me to even mention it. I think she connects the dots somehow.
Gene mentioned this to the old lady? When?

The reference to the "high school chemistry teacher who ended up with a pile of cash the size of a VW" was made to Jeff on the department store mockup in the snow field.
I enjoy these threads almost as the episodes and will miss the lively discussion when it's all over.
To me, this season has been like a multi-course pull-out-all-the-stops dinner. The first nine courses were superb, and this one is the sorbet that cleanses our palates for the two final courses and dessert. A strained analogy, but it's the best I can do this time of night.
I just hope dessert is a big arse Cinnabon roll.

If he also drove a cab in Albuquerque, he saw every Bus bench and billboard often too.
