Did y’all see the quick commercial for Straight Man (w Bob) and Parish (Giancarlo Esposito) coming in 2023?
I read the Straight Man novel by Richard Russo many years ago.
No idea what the Parish show will be about. I see articles about Giancarlo to be in a series called The Driver set in New Orleans. Maybe they renamed it Parish?

Nothing left to analyze. Guess he cleared his conscious and protected Kim from his own admissions? Weird.
Just do the 7 and walk out.
Only thing I can figure that makes sense is he refused to framed as a victim and wanted his due credit. Even if it came with a price.
I think it was all about Saul's ego. If that somehow benefited Kim too, well that's great.

Can someone tell me what K+J=S means?
Kim plus Jimmy??
Kim plus Jimmy??

I liked how while Jimmy & Kim were having that last cigarette together, the lighter flame and lit cigarette tip were in color…a glimpse back to earlier, happy times

k+j=s translates to "very stubborn and very wrong" in pig latin

I just don’t get the opinions here, saying the last few episodes sucked. What were you expecting? He was no longer Saul. He was Gene, the manager of Cinnabon in Omaha.
The show ended like EC did. It went out quietly. Jesse went to Alaska, Saul saves Kim and goes to prison for life.
Since the death of Lalo and Howard, it was basically “El Camino”.
EC came in like a lion, went out like a lamb.
BCS came in like a lamb, went out like a lion. We saw hints of Saul, with the schemes, but it was still Saul’s Swan Song, just as EC was Jesse’s Swan’s Song.
It’s just EC was a movie and BCS (post Lalo’s death), was a few episodes.

I am very content with that ending because when Jimmy and Kim’s cigarette was extinguished - it also extinguished any chance of Ham Solo being correct about anything.
The Movie/TV Board has known no greater villain than that jackass (Ham Solo) and his demise makes me content with everything else that happened in the 2nd half of the season.

The one hole in protecting Kim from Mrs Hamlin’s lawsuit is that Kim is now living in Florida, where most people are judgement proof due to homestead laws, etc. that’s where OJ moved to in order to avoid hsving to pay the Brown and Goldman families anything on their judgement against him.

I think people wanted a more explosive finale like Breaking Bad, but I was happy with it. I wish Saul would have taken the 7 year deal as a way to weasel out of trouble one more time because I like cheering for Saul, but I get what they where going for with him having a clean conscience and getting properly punished for what he did.

The end of BB pissed me off. A M-60 firing from the trunk of a car that kills an entire drug/white supremacy gang. This was completely fricking stupid.

I loved when Walt ended their conversation by saying so you were always like this. He was genuinely disappointed and saw Saul as just a low life simpleton

She also has no known significant assets and a shitty job at a sprinkler company. It wouldn’t be worth anyone’s time to go after her in a civil suit and try to squeeze blood from a turnip. That part of the plot, that rich Mrs. Hamlin would come after Kim civilly, was LOL.

Best line of the show:
WW to Saul about suing Gray Matter: “You would have been the last lawyer I would have called!” (may not be exact quote)

I took the action to simply be an act of retribution. Getting anything wasnt the goal. It was making her life hell.

It would only be out of vengeance, not monetary gain.
Which is even more ridiculous considering they were damn near separated, Howard was living in the guest house for months, and on track to divorce.
I felt her anger was driven more by Kimmy and Jimmy making her look bad indirectly by slandering her husband than any love for Howard.

Exactly. It's not about financial gain, it's about wrecking Kim's life the way Kim wrecked hers
