I don't really know what to think. In the last gene scene when he's been made int he mall he calls the vacuum guy again and places the order, but at the very last minute he sees something or someone that makes him stop dead and then he cancels. I just can't imagine what he would have seen that would have him do an instant 180 like that. It feels lazy for it to be kim but I mean what else could it be?
Ham said it was Kim waiting for him down by the Spencer’s with a new novelty coffee mug proclaiming they’re back in business….you know since they’ve been working together even after all what happened. J+K”leaving him”=S and all that. Probably opening a new law office right there in the mall next to Abercrombie and Fitch.

Jesse’s alive and well in Alaska but he has to be in constant psychological fear after what he went through. What if Kim went to Alaska to get away from it all and….?

I think he enjoyed that wine in BB
Gus died with Hector. If Gus had lived, he might have enjoyed that bottle.

Just a guy Gus wanted to gargle his nards.
No that's not the guy Bolsa killed.
Holy crap guys, it was Hector Salamanca who killed Max (Gus's partner) at Don Eladio's pool. Hence Gus's special hatred for Hector. In addition to Gus's regular hatred for Eladio and everyone else involved.

Pretty sure this was his one and only appearance in BCS.
But I thought he looked familiar too. It turns out Giancarlo Esposito and the actor that played the sommelier both had roles in a previous GOAT series: Homicide - Life On The Street.

Like others I was kinda confused with the gus bar scene as it did just seem kinda random and out of place, espcially with how it ended.
This episode was to wrap up various storylines so that the remaining episodes can be more streamlined.
The bar scene was how the writers wrapped up the BCS Gus storyline. The previously wrapped up Mike by showing us his marching orders - resume lab construction, and his own self-interest of trying to give closure to Nacho’s father. With Gus, they gave us a moment of relaxation and celebration, with identifying a future celebration that we know will never come, and then a transition of Gus becoming focused again. It was great and necessary. We won’t need to see Gus again.
They also wrapped up Kim. We won’t need to see her again until the Gene timeline.
They wrapped up the law firm. It’s done.
They previously wrapped up Nacho and Lalo.
Now, the 2 series get woven more tightly and we get closure for Gene.
This should be one of the most satisfying endings in TV history. No Ham Solo cornball trope reveal, no gag reflex seeing Kim happy with a family. Jimmy may find an ending that the character deserves - suffering and demise.

Reversing that, BCS certainly intensified Walt’s saying to Hector Salamanca while introducing the pipe bomb-wheelchair plan to kill Gus Fring:
“I know you hate me, but I’m willing to bet there’s someone you hate even more …”

He was also in Franklin and Bash.

Also, this thread would’ve been like 6 pages of not for all of the Ham hating and his responding to himself 26 times.

You certainly understand the terror in Saul’s voice much more intensely with Walt and Jesse in ski masks: “Did Lalo send you!!??”
Not surprising Saul still leaned to the idea Lalo was still alive. Of course, we can forgive Saul in his terror not recognizing a solid fact: if Lalo was going to take final revenge on Saul, he no doubt was going to do it himself and not by proxy with two flunkies.

That doesn't sound satisfying at all.

Jimmy (Gene)/Kim will have some kind of interaction with each other. I still think she might be behind the taxi driver/other guy approaching Saul in the mall. Not sure what her motive would be for doing that though.

I would definitely be a little disappointed if that was the last we see of Kim.

That's what I was thinking when I read that.

Walt got his sentimental ending. Jesse's ending could have just been our relief at his escape—with a very uncertain future—but we ended up with seeing him have a real chance at renewal. Jimmy is a beloved character, his ending will be uplifting.
As for Kim, her return is inevitable now, obviously. Her abrupt ending in the BCS timeline could not possibly be the last time we see her. Some people here thought she was just using Jimmy, and would simply leave him when things got too hot. Well, her saying "I love you" and then the timeline abruptly changing tells us exactly how Jimmy's story is going to end.

I’m not so sure about that. Mike was beloved. Nacho was beloved (I think). They both made decisions that carried significant consequences.
I don’t see a happy ending for Jimmy.

No one in this universe has had a happy ending

Posted on 7/20/22 at 11:52 am to Displaced
I can see a possible scene where Gene tracks down Kim who he sees is living a miserable life, living with her miserable mother (carol burnett) and he doesn’t Interfere and just continues to live on the run miserable. That would be a terrible but non lethal ending for them
