Howard is not some great guy like he acts to people but he also not deserving of having his entire career (and probably life) destroyed

I haven't read the whole thread yet but is anybody having trouble getting back into this? It's been so long since I was into these storylines I don't remember what the hell is going on half the time. Especially with this show because of all the easter eggs and references and stuff. Anybody got a good recap link that won't take forever to read?

that's why you binge the previous season before the new season starts bruh
eta: like rebel said there's a bunch of recap videos you can watch, I think there's some 10-15 minute SEason 5 recap vids on youtube that would probably be helpful. And if you can find the time, it might not hurt to watch the S5 finale just to roll right into s6

Maybe this has been answered, but how did Lalo know who Werner's widow was and where to find her?
Posted on 5/12/22 at 1:49 pm to Diseasefreeforall
Lalo knew how many Werner Zigglers there were in Germany, and then how many there were left when 1 had passed away after he was obsessing over the name and trying to figure out what gus was really up to. I assume he simply went to the adress of the diseased werner ziggler and spotted his wife, met up in the bar.

Is it just me or was everyone else impressed by Werner's ability to pull trim.
She's not drop dead gorgeous or anything, but way hotter in an old lady way than I though Werner could pull.

Now you know why Werner risked his life (and failed) to get that last taste.

There’s a good season 5 recap video out there, about 15 minutes long. It should be easy to find.

To be fair, all that says is her name and nothing else.

Just how difficult would it be to find a Margarethe Zeigler that has the same address as a Werner Zeigler?

Why does Jimmy hate Howard so much? I got some rewatching to do.
I think it has something to do with the big picture of everything with HHM, but I can't put my finger on it either. It's pretty complex going all the way back to the beginning when Jimmy wanted to buy out Chuck's share of the firm when he was still sick. Then there was the initial thing with the Kettleman's & Kim and then the Mesa Verde stuff.
Something really set Jimmy off when Howard offered him a job at HHM though.

Someone suggested howard was more of a scapegoat since his brother is dead. i think thats a part of it as well as howards past conflict with jimmy and kim. its only been about year since chuck's death and jimmy more recently got his license unsupsended from that. so the conflict with howard is still fresh despite the fact that it howard was only indirectly gatekeeping. howard kept bringing it up offering 'reparations' type deals for jimmy, as if howard still was in a power position over jimmy.
also howard was a part of not getting that girl jimmy wanted to get the scholarship. he is basically a symbol of the self-righteous powers that be that provided many obstacles for jimmy getting into law.
plus targeting howard makes sense for scamming because it can potentially make bank from the settlement. although I dont really think they would have targeted howard had he just kept his space and not tried to butt in offering jobs or warning kimmy about jimmy. a flaw for them this series is they keep looking for the next con, and howard positioned himself for being the next con.
so i think its more that they are trying to justify their con on howard with somewhat misplaced hate. bc they had tried to only 'use their powers for good', but that is slowly getting corrupted.

Question for anyone that recalls. Does anyone in the Cartel besides the Salamancas know that Lalo is alive?
We know Hector knows, does the rest of the cartel think he's dead still? I don't think we've seen anyone else with that knowledge yet.

only hector on the cartel side as far as anything to be evidenced from the show. maybe something offscreen happened, but that seems unlikely in this show.

That was his address in Albuquerque…it’s not where they live.
