Before Jimmy thought of "the valet scam" and using Huel, they were talking about mocking up another car to look like Howard's. So it's more than planting something, they want Howard's car to be seen somewhere or doing something.
Good point, I have no idea what they're up to other than they want his car seen in some type of scenario.

Lalo thought again. I think it's interesting that Saul and Kim think Lalo is dead and Gus knows he's alive.
Both of these opinions have to do a 180 real soon before or during early BB.
This means Saul, Kim, or both have to have another Lalo encounter. Gus almost certainly has to be responsible if Lalo is dead.
It can't be cops that kill Lalo or BB Saul would know because cops would take public credit.
It has to be a Gus plot, but how does Gus kill Lalo at this point without the cartel pointing the finger at him? They're already suspicious.

We see Wendy's motel in the preview for next week. That has to have something to do with Howard's car.

The obvious thing, maybe too obvious, would be Kim killing Lalo but getting mortally wounded in the process.

Nacho
Talk about a powerful performance on your way out. What an amazing scene to end the episode. Wow.

Yeah I meant it was understood that he was going to die that day.
I was holding out faint hope that Mike would help him "disappear via vacuum man" after the final call to his dad.
Then again, this is the BB/BCS Story line where all the real anti-heroes get to die.

My theories are holding up so far.
Nacho not surviving, check. Amazing end to his story.
My other theory is that Kim is destined for the vacuum repair service. The odds of that happening just got better.
Vince has done it again, BCS is a masterpiece.

If Nacho shoots Bolsa, the cartel kills his dad.

I hope to see the actor that played Nacho in more stuff. I thought he was terrific in this show. Great episode.

So as far as jimmy is concerned, he ends up in the BB timeline thinking lalo and nacho are both alive. So it’s fair to assume that he never finds out about nacho’s death or lalo’s assumed death (Gus/Mike are the only ones that know lalo is alive and Gus told hector that the Salamanca name dies with him in BB…safe to assume Gus kills Lalo before this thing wraps up).

Damned good episode. RIP Nacho. Did you hear how many times Hector shot him after he was dead?
I still wouldn't be surprised if they still kill his father. As Nacho said, they are psychos, and I could see it happening just because they're crazy mad.

didn't kim tell saul in this episode that lalo died in mexico? From the info that other lawyer lady told her?

Yes

Yes, but in BB, when Walter and Jessie take Saul into the desert, Saul first says it wasn’t him, it was Ignacio….so you can assume Saul finds out that nacho double crossed. Then he asks if lalo sent them, so you can assume that Saul doesn’t know that lalo is dead.

He’s assuming that Saul never finds out about Lalo’s upcoming actual death (presuming that’s what is about to occur).

I don’t think Gus would tell Hector that the Salamanca name dies with him if he didn’t know for sure lalo was dead. That meant something to gus. I’m assuming that gus kills lalo and Saul doesn’t know about it.
