The fact that you can have a prequel, and the top 3 characters never even appear in the original and yet the story flows is the sign of insanely good writing.

Going into the final season of BCS, Saul’s panicked question to Walt and Jesse looms bigger than ever from way back (but in the future) in Season 2 of Breaking Bad:

“What, what, Lalo didn’t send you?!”

Whether Lalo is dead or alive, the storyline of Better Call Saul will end with Saul THINKING Lalo is alive.

Lalo looked like the terminator or the Yul Brenner cowboy in Westworld when he determinedly marched/limped off after Nacho at the end.

I really expected more of the hit crew after Gus talked them up. And Lalo's night time security was quite lacking. He could afford at least some motion detector lights around the back gate.

I'm thinking Mike kills Lalo to save Jimmy and/or Kim before it's over.

There's also another theory that still has some traction

Another theory, notice how all Kim says she will do with the settlement money is all about her? her pro bono law firm etc. Jimmy's the only one that thinks of them as a couple and says they should get a house. What if they get the settlement and then Kim divorces him, out lawyers him and gets all the money. That would make Jimmy more of the type of Saul we saw in Breaking Bad. Explains why Kim's not in Breaking Bad as well, and still makes Ham Solo wrong for all you guys to rejoice in.

It'd as obvious as daylight to anyone that's actually been watching. All these other theories have failed to understand Occum's Razor.

Without giving it much thought, that definitely seems plausible. She has been acting very odd around him and its obvious she wants the money to allow her to do her pro bono work

I just can't see Kim doing Jimmy like that, she obviously really cares for him. For a few seconds there, I thought Jimmy was about to break it off with Kim in the hotel room shortly after he confronted Mike about Lalo, before she convinced him to go to dinner in the lounge. Not because of anything she's done or said, but because of his fragile frame of mind and feeling that she is too good for him, or rather, he is bad for her. I'm sure what Lalo told him about her being out of his league has stuck in his craw.

I think Jimmy would just give it all to her. She wouldn't have to steal or swindle him out of it. He wants her safe and secure..

Sa_l W K_m

...wut on earth is this supposed to mean? feels like something that belongs in the Qanon thread.

what about Sa_l w/_ K_m

how about the interaction where jimmy says you wouldnt be ok with doing this, not in the light of day?
Kim responds with oh wouldnt I? *pistol shots* Kim wants to be a rockstar. getting tough felony convicts off. her character just isnt someone who would be a secret background partner.

Lalo will be onto Nacho now. Everyone is dead except Nacho. The guy Lalo thought started the fire was the first one shot.

Are there people disputing this? He stared right at the two drink glasses. He was told there was an inside guy. He obviously knows what happened.

If you are looking at it as a whole and watching it as one big story, wouldn't Nacho's death make Jesse's escape more impactful?

Ok, mopey then. Fine. He’s gone through a lot of shite this season. Much more than he ever had to in BB.

You’re really expecting him to be happy go lucky after having a gun to his head and seeing several men gunned down in front of him?

Ham, what do you think is going to happen with Gene Takovic?

No idea. There's just not enough info. Anything is possible.

I would love it if next season we are watching Gene and they slowly fade the color in. At some point we have to see what's going on in that timeline.
