Who plays Mr. Acker, the old man that refuses to leave his home? He's not in any of the credits and I know him from an old movie or TV show.

He's the guy from Northern Exposure.

Great show, btw.

I don’t know where the Kim and Saul relationship is going, they keep making you think Kim is gonna leave him, then she suddenly has fun with him again.

Will she embrace the dark side?

looks like he is in an upcoming movie with Dick van Dyke and others called "Capture the Flag" about a group of old veterans who play capture the flag for the right to raise the American Flag every morning in their old folks home.

From Kim's perspective, Jimmy hasn't done anything too shady yet. She probably wouldn't be too chipper with him if she knew he was helping a drug lord (albeit reluctantly, so far) string the freaking DEA along.

At some point, this will all come out and even if she initially rationalizes it, it will eventually become a bridge too far for her.

I think the main factor is being on the side of the underdog.

Most of the time these are the same thing, but I don't think money is entering her head. It's just a need to figure out who is the giant and who is the little person.

She knows the homeowner is legally in the wrong, but she prefers to help him.

I kinda agree and disagree here. It's impossible to disagree with kimmy liking the little guy, I mean that has been made crystal clear with her taking on pro bono work and wanting to get into the court room and defend cases that she really has no business being involved in.

Buuuuuuttttt...she knows where her bread is buttered. Sure it was a nice gesture showing that guy some new housing options, but she didn't do that because she really just wants the best for this guy, she did it so he'll STFU, GTFO, and quit holding up their project. She not only works for a massive firm, she had the president create a separate division just for her. She IS the giant. She also could have gotten that sweet poor old lady fired in the records office when she pulled the switcheroo to get the new plans with the larger office on the new bank branch.

Yes, kim absolutley does have a great heart and does care about the little guy more than probably most others in the profession, but let's not act like she doesn't work for the big boys and does what's needed to further her own interests.

Except for that time he set up his brother and caused him to kill himself, which was all for Kim's benefit.

Every action Kim has taken so far says different. Yes, she will be reluctant and try to stop him, but he will get in over his head and Kim will jump right in.

I think what's about to happen is Kim is about to need Saul's help to secretly screw Mesa Verde with the home owner situation.

Time to get this thread going.

Who is ready for ISZA? Get ready, with Saul's new influx of cash it's happening soon. The question is, who are the associates?

Saul- obviously
Huell- has to be
Kim- Yep
Francesca- probably unless he goes cheap and pays her minimum wage. This would explain her attitude shift from BCS to BB.

Here is the long shot crazy idea of one more.

Howard Hamlin

This one isn't my idea and I'm not buying it right now, but ever since Kim started sleeping with Saul Goodman the interwebs have picked up on what I have been saying for years. J+K=S.

About a month ago someone on reddit speculated HH may be struggling and looking for some help. I thought this was too crackpot (which is saying something) until Howard was seen chasing Saul down for lunch.

I don't think it will happen, but it's something worth keeping in the back of your mind just in case.

The Saul seen in breaking bad trying to get Francesca to let him follow her home from work then saying “that bootay is killing me” I feel like is no longer in a romantic relationship with Kim.

Would Saul/jimmy have used disappearer and just left Kim behind cold turkey never contacting her again if they are still together? Idk seems like no.

Finally caught up!

Does anyone but me think Kim makes a return appearance in present day Saul?

Would be a nice way to close the series having them get back together in the end.

She's a great character.

nfortunately for him, Hank was a damn good detective.

Hank was such a good DEA agent he unwittingly eased who would become the biggest meth dealer ever into the business. He missed all the signs. Stolen equipment from Walts lab, walk having sketchy excuses, Walt coming into money. Literally right under his nose. Hanks a likable good ole baw, but not the best detective.

eeeehhhhh it's easy to say that as the viewer because we know what really happened but the explanations for everythign were valid from hank's perspective. The stolen equipment was chalked up to an ex-con janitor. The money was explained by walt's gambling which made sense since he's so damn smart.

Meeting up with the known high school meth dealer
New cars.
Gambling itself could have been a sign something was up, especially in context with everything else.

I think it was more that hank the jock, big shot type character just saw Walt as the weaker man. The victim not the bully.
He thought drug dealers were dumb thugs not enterprising geniuses. He was too sure of his preconceived notions so he missed each and every clue, even Walt literally admitting it to him (Albeit as a joke).

it was said he did it to make money for his family before he died, and clearly had the mental aptitude to do it

Just playing devils advocate here. Again it's easy to call hank a big dummy because we know all the facts while he doesn't, but all these clues are easily chalked up to perfectly valid explanations.

I’m thinking kims still alive. I feel like if she were killed by drug cartel or people Saul got involved with, jimmy would you off the deep end and not even be saul
