May have been the best scene of the show thus far...

Awesome to see how breaking bad started with the CI

Hank is back!

On a side note, I saw the actor that plays Hank at Endymion this year. He’s pretty short in person

Although it was awesome to see Hank back, I thought this episode was kind of average.

Great episode and cool to see Hank again. It's been years since BB and Dean Norris still looks the same.

If I've got the Breaking Bad/ BCS timeline right. Walt and Jesse have or are just about to start cooking

Well, we’re certainly getting to the point where Saul and Nacho will both want Lalo gone. We also know Lalo will die. The one thing that confuses me is how they’ll screw him over without Saul ever finding out about his death.

Did they say it was 2004 this episode? I thought the lease was 1974 and they were 30 years in. If that’s the case, we would still have a few years, right?

He said his lease had 70 years left. It could have been an approximation.

Unsure on the first part. But you have to factor in that Walt and Jesse were cooking for at least a year before they found Gus. And that the underground cookhouse Gus bulit was still under construction when Gus and Walter met.

Not necessarily... Crazy 8 obviously isn’t turning in his cousin with this info, as its Gus’ stash and he is way to timid from what we see in the pilot of BB.

I’d imagine we are a year or two out from the timeliness crossing.

It’s amazing to me that Gilligan has no idea he’d make this show when writing Breaking Bad.

How BCS takes throw away lines from BB and turns them into whole back stories is truly amazing.

This episode was the tits. We finally saw Jimmy really ‘break bad’ and found out how ‘Krazy 8” becomes a DEA informant.

The symbolism of the ice cream cone and the ants paralleling Jimmy’s losing his innocence was true art.

Crazy 8 could be a drop guy. Remember in BB Hank said that they got to Jesse and his cousin through crazy 8

I could be wrong but this seems like the first time Saul fully realizes how deep he is in with bad dudes. He was terrified when Nacho took him to meet Lalo.

It was definitely implied (if not outright said) that Crazy 8 gave up Emilio and Jesse.

Don’t Walt and Jesse capture Krazy 8 after their first cook? Krazy 8 never makes it out of that alive, so the BB timeline basically starts when Krazy 8 disappears from BCS
